I'm Lycan you

I'm Lycan you

Roxxane's Point of View "So, what is this temple called?" "Karnak Temple Complex, the temple of Amun-ra." I mentally stumbled. 'Amun-ra? As in the sun God of Egypt? The one of the most powerful creators of Egypt people?' I swiftly looked at the carved writings on the elegant and tall walls around us. 'Hieroglyphics. ' 'So this is indeed the ancient Egypt. I can't believe Alexander indeed managed to conquer the great land of Egypt in just days or weeks. So that explains why this city looked so beautifully well-managed and powerful.

Mate to the King

Mate to the King

I flick my wrist and the fire leaps from my palm. "How can you still do this?" I hear Ash ask. I tug a little at the freezing metal collar around my neck. "I'm not really sure," I murmur. "I wish I could do it," he mutters. "I'll teach you how when we get out of here," I tell him. I concentrate on the fire again, moving the matching flames in Ash's cell as well. "In the beginning there were seven gods, the most powerful of which were the twins Zahra and Kilano. Zahra was the goddess of life and Kilano the god of fire and ashes. Together they created the dragons."

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

“We are joined tonight by avatars of the tri-mother, our own moon goddess! Flidais (pronounce FLIH dish) be praised that they have chosen to join us!” Howls erupted from the darkness in response and my hand clamped down on Kiara’s eliciting a small squeak of pain. Flidais? He invoked Flidais, goddess of the hunt? I supposed that was somewhat fitting, though she was often depicted as being at odds with Brigit and Morrigan. As for Cernunnos, well let's just say he was often seen hunting Flidais

This take on the werewolf genre is great! The setting does wonders for the story and werewolves in general, and the author's writing style is easy to read without being boring. Definitely an interesting book.

House of Shadows

House of Shadows

I sit and recite an invocation I memorized to get in touch with him * Behold me, for I am the writing reed of the god Neb-er-tcher, the lord of laws, who giveth forth the word of wisdom and understanding, and whose speech hath dominion over the double land. I am Thoth the lord of light and truth, who maketh the feeble one to gain victory, and who avengeth the wretched and the oppressed on him that wrongeth him I have scattered the darkness! I have driven away the storm, and I have brought the wind to Un-Nefer, the beautiful breeze of the north wind, even as it came forth from the womb of his mother.

The Alpha's Celestial

But his mischievous grin signaled that he would do anything to achieve what he want and his cold and threatening eyes set off a warning that not to gamble with him for anything. "Eh?" "Nevermind." Seeing my confusion, he dismissed me and start introducing himself by his own. "I'm Khonshu. Egyptian god of moon and your moon goddess's husband. Now... ring any bells, humm?" He offered again but still my mind didn't seem like it's ready to work properly. The last time I met a moon deity... I end up suffering for two fucking months!!! This time... I don't even dare to guess anything. "Hump. It seems like my lovely mate and wife scared the shit out of you. That's good because you wouldn't dare to

"Hey Alhan, who's your sire?'' I asked, unable to thwart my curiosity any longer. He grinned slightly and I noticed a pair of snake-like fangs. "My father is Nehebkau," he replied and I snorted. "An Egyptian God is your dad, I'm the queen of Siam," I scoffed and Alhan frowned. "It's true and yes they helped build the pyramids on old earth," he mumbled. I told him I missed earth and I was sorry for teasing him and he shrugged.

Alsie and Her Mates-Book 2

Alsie and Her Mates-Book 2

“Wepwawet, I need you to stay until I return and continue to guide them.” “I understand, Anubis.” Wepwawet said as Anubis left our house to gather his things and head back to his home. “Who is Isis? That name sounds familiar.” Andrew asked as he looked at Wepwawet. “It should. Isis is the most prominent Ancient Egyptian deity associated with magic and witchcraft, often called the "Great of Magic" in Egyptian it translates to Weret Hekau. Isis used her power to resurrect her husband Osiris and protect her son Horus. As you all have learned, the triplets are the direct descendants of Horus, therefore that makes you descendants of Isis as well.” Wepwawet answered.

I always knew she was different, but it never occurred to me. “Keturah, blessed goddess, mother of our kind, it's an honour to have you in our midst”, Kreed says, going one knee. Everybody in the room does the same including, Jayden. I keep sitting, trying my best to see through the tears that have clouded my vision.

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

When Azarakh spoke, I’m certain there was some Egyptian in his words, but this does look like Greek. But it’s not so surprising. We have Selene and Hecate, both of who are known to many as Greek goddesses, and then we have Apophis and Bastet who are known to be Egyptian gods. But they have more than one name, depending on who is worshipping them. Just as we address the God of the sun as Helios, yet in the story of Apophis, he is known as Ra. The realm of the gods isn’t defined by Greece or Egypt, but the names of the gods we are coming to learn about are either from Greek or Egyptian origins. Just as we have hypothesised.

This one holds a Special place in my Heart. Perhaps because I followed the MFC & MMC from childhood but their story is one to make you feel all forms of Emotions (Good, Bad and in between) till the end of the story. I didn't want the story to end just like all this Amazing Author's other works!

I reread the book as it is completed and I have to say this story is even more enthralling then reading it while ongoing. I love this book , ever since King Alejandro, the return of her cold hearted Alpha, with Enrique and Kataleya being kids , I wanted to read this story! And it did not disappoint!
