“I've seen it.” She glanced at me. “You've been here before?” “Several times.” The car continued through the city, and eventually the Eiffel Tower appeared in the distance. Loretta went completely stunned. I could see the way her eyes widened, and I watched the realization cross her face as the tower grew larger with every passing second. “Oh my God,” she breathed Her reaction made me feel like I had just conquered an entire continent. “You like it?” “Like it?” She turned toward me, her eyes wide. “Elion, this is epic.”

On it was a childish drawing of some people outside a house amongst trees and underneath a great big blue sky with white fluffy clouds, birds and a yellow shining sun. "That's Mommy and that's Daddy," Cato announced proudly pointing at the two taller figures. "I drew Daddy and Mathias drew Mommy but we could remember how tall you were so we drew you the same but actually..." he said looking between us. "I don't think that's right." There was a wigwam of lines, presumably meant to represent our fire, and a tower that looked like a rook from a chessboard drawn by a child and stuck on a fridge out of sympathy. The only other landmark included in this work of art was a wiggly line between us and the tower. Presumably a river.

We stopped in front of the Eiffel tower. "Just in time,"Etienné muttered with a smile. "The lights aren't....." I couldn't complete my sentence and lights began to shimmer from the tower. "Is it okay if I cry?"I asked. "Yeah sure, "Etienné answered. I let out a fake cry and Etienné laughed. "You're something else, Hazel," he said. "I know, "I said with a smile. "It's beautiful though, "I said, admiring the lights coming from the tower.

The attendants have already finished stocking our vehicles with the big boxes. "Now take us home," Luciano instructs the driver. The driver nods at him and starts the car immediately. He makes to turn at the U-turn but Luciano clears his throat. "Make sure to do a small tour around the Eiffel tower, she has to see it in person," Luciano commands. I suddenly became happy and I look at Luciano. A small smile forms on his face and he nods at me. The driver came upon the avenue and there, the Eiffel tower stands with its majestic presence. I can not tear my off the scene as I stare in awe. It is even taller in person compared to how it is portrayed in the movies.

Still here, I said softly. Eli made a small satisfied sound and leaned back against my chest and looked at the room from this new vantage point with the calm interest of someone who had upgraded their view and approved of the change. I looked at the drawings above the bed. Marker on paper in the bold oversaturated colours of someone who had been given a full set and had used all of them. Shapes that suggested things rather than depicting them. A large yellow circle that was probably the sun and possibly also a face. Several figures of varying sizes that may have been people or animals or both. What appeared to be a house. What appeared to be something flying.

I sat down and waited for him to get out of the bathroom since I had spilled my drink on him by mistake. It did not take time for him to finish showering and join me. We were taken to the Eiffel Tower; I read about it. I heard it was the most famous attraction for tourists, and I could see why that is. The iron-wrought tower stood at three hundred and twenty-four meters. The magnificent tower with its beautiful architectural view marveled at me. We bought tickets and lined up for our turn to use the tower. I wanted to use the staircase because I wanted to have first-hand experience with the tower.

30 minutes later. We finally got to the Eiffel Tower and we both knelt on our knees breathing heavily.  "Wow!! It's beautiful," I said admiring it. I brought out my iPhone immediately and gave it to Drake to snap pictures. I posed expecting Drake to snap the pictures but instead, he stared at me raising a brow at me. "What are you waiting for, take the pictures," I said as I raised two hands above my head and posed. "Okay, ma'am." He said chuckling.

" Are you feeling good down there?" " I am," I peeked at my drawing. Inspecting the somehow horrifying image. Okay! To get this straight...I drew something which almost seemed to look like an eagle...it had wings so long that it occupied the entire space of the paper. The wings had symbols that I saw as designs. I made its eyes wide like that of an owl but its peak was like that of a raven. It was flying, and behind it, I drew a small moon at the corner of the paper, beneath the eagle's feet was a trace of reflecting water.
