Eric swallowed and looked at his sister who was actually staring at Kent almost dreamily. “What are your interests lately, Elise?” Kent asked her while they looked at each other. “Nothing in particular,” she answered truthfully but distractedly. “But I did have visions last night. I saw a dragon, a crest with a dragon and a battle.” “A battle?” Eric asked with curious eyes. “Not again!” Diana shook her head. “I don’t want to face another shrieking priestess!” she complained. “Well, that’s interesting.” Kent’s eyes twinkled with excitement.

Though I hated living there, I didn’t want this. The way the dragon is holding me; I can’t use my arms. The sound of the wind is making the flight unbearable. I begin to wiggle trying to free my arms. I’m not sure if the dragon took mercy on me or was tired of dealing with me, but he pressed me against him. Being against his belly seemed to drown out the sound of the wind. His warmth helped with the cold. The sun has long since set and the night air has a chill.

Lizzy mused. “They looked at me as if I was a bug to squash,” Chloe said bitterly. “Perhaps, if they knew your origin, they’d think differently,” Lizzy offered. “Now, tell me about the dragon part. How marvelous to be able to transform into such a majestic beast. How very lucky. Did you know that there is a planet in the Oobla galaxy that has some of the most advanced scientific minds in the universe and these minds are housed within the bodies of dragons? Your Tristan is a blessed soul.”

ared. Dr. Sina too. This was insane!!! “What do you want to know?” Celia grunted, obviously straining to talk. I did not know why my words would cause her such discomfort, but at this point I did not care. I saw a way to find some answers. And if I could command them to do whatever I want, I would run away – in fact, I would make them let me leave! I just needed to find Leo. “What truth do you wish to know child”, Dr Sina’s soft voice came from behind her. I could see that he too, was straining to speak. “I want to know … about my brother… you said… you said…”.. I was mumbling.. “Yes, it is true… What we said is the truth, but please, I beseech you, could you please allow Mr. Locke to explai

I was willing to do anything to prevent the fate—even if it meant seeking out a mate. The true cause of my inner corruption was a mystery. In order to understand my plight, I ordered my men to scour every book in the castle’s royal library for any mention of elementals consumed by darkness. Despite their effort, they found no answers. Among the ancient tomes were books about dragons. However, these texts were written in a language so old that only the previous dragon-shifters could decipher them. Dragons had been extinct for decades, hunted to extinction by a cruel king in a distant, abandoned kingdom called Dravonia. The king, legend had it, was cursed by a witch after he killed her mate—a

Even in the deathly quiet of the dining hall, her footsteps are so light that I can't hear them. “You don’t seem surprised,” she says when she reaches me. “You haven’t been here very long, but gossip spreads like wildfire around here,” I tell her. “So, it’s not because I’m your mate that you’re not surprised?” “How much do you know about dragons, Princess?” I ask her. “I’ve read every book that every elf has ever written about dragons, Elio. I know more about them than most elves. I’d make an exception for King Yhendorn and Princess Merethyl,” she says.

Making a mental note to pick up some books by the author for Andreena. ‘Based on the best-selling book series by Jenson Spellmore Dragon’s Lovers,’ Andreena settled against me and we watched the show for a few minutes before the main dragon came onto the screen. He wasn’t in his human form and I heard my mate suck in a breath. She glanced over at me before looking at the screen and then back at me again. “What is it, sweet Andreena?” I asked, reaching for the remote and turning the volume down so that I could focus on her.

"No, that's what the female dragons like to read. I don't have access to warrior books, as only Aaron and his majesty have the keys to the male library." "Hmm, So what are these three books about? Have you read them?" I asked, seeing the first novel was about a princess and a beast, the second book was about a poor lady that had only one wish to marry the wealthiest dragon, and the third one, how to seduce a male dragon.

I handed her my phone, and she took it in her hands and placed it in her cross-body freckled bag that suited her look perfectly. "Don't be scared, Love... I might look rough, but my dragon adores you," I said, cupping her cheek, and taking a step back, shifting into my magnificent beast. Yes, I was an earth dragon, but unlike my brothers, I was also a gifted dragon, just like Adam. Adam was the Emerald dragon, while I, Urien Dragnoir, had the Onyx dragon. A pure black beast. Elisa gasped and then ran her hand over my snout, and my dragon melted into her, and then huffed, lowering his head.

But if I told them the truth, maybe they would take me back to Thornwood. “A werewolf.” I said as loud as I could muster. Collective gasps broke out around me. Gasps of shock and disdain. I dragged my gaze around, confused by their reaction. Wait, he did say this was the ‘Dragon Keep’. The memory of when I came across a book about Dragons rushed into my mind. “...dragons are egoistic creatures who think they're better than everyone. They hung our kind for sport. They're monsters, Eloise…” Mae had told me that day.
