The Awakened Luna

The Awakened Luna

I wonder if all rogues act like they're a little wrong in the head. Our attention snapped back on the front when someone harrumphed. Almost all the girls groaned, and almost all the boys lean in attention. "Greetings! I'm Felicia Filicitus Faulkner, I'm 14 years old, a beautiful gray wolf and I'm from the Southwoods!" She started tinkering with her long hair. "I'd love to be friends with all of you, you should feel honored, I mean this is an invitation from someone who is the strongest candidate to become Luna!"

The Alpha Protocol

The Alpha Protocol

The quiet lighting in the engravings had turned into a bright, vibrating blue. And then, very quiet, like a Flüstern in her brain, she heard a voice: “The loom was not destroyed. It was only put into standby mode. And the time of awakening has come.” Elora looked around panic. The forest suddenly seemed strange, the trees like guards a truth that they should not have touched. In the distance, direction of the old Ruins of Atlantis, a column of flickering light rose into the sky. The silence

Awakening - Eve Of Eden

Awakening - Eve Of Eden

Calming, taking deep breaths, and flickering a glance up at Toya once more. “My eyes… what did you see?” It’s the only thing she said that stuck. “Blue isn’t your color when you engage whatever this was.” Kaelin is the one to answer, and this surprises me. Because I have wolved the last few days and blue is for sure my constant color no matter what form I am in. They never change as they never have. Always blue, eternally glowing since birth. Just brighter as a wolf. “So what were they?” “Purple… well, blue purple sort of.” Toya shrugs, like she isn’t sure she actually saw that color, and Kaelin nods because he saw it too.

LUSTBORN

LUSTBORN

The faintest whisper through the screen. You called. Again. And her screen glitched. Marek's name appeared on every tab. Her fingers trembled. The last thing she saw before the lights went out was a single word typed on the document she hadn't touched: MINE. **** Elara was curled under her sheets, the thick, fluffy duvet draped around her like cocoon. Her laptop sat on her bedside table, screen still glowing with the documents she thought she'd closed hours ago. The last thing she had seen before dozing off was the title of the newest chapter.

Dream World

Dream World

Iero called as he looked at his elder brother with both shock and horror. “Kulv.” Reyan called as he looked at Kulv with a stern expression on his face while Hierro felt speechless because of shock. He can’t believe that Kulv would say something like this! “Didn’t Tinum already say it just now? You won’t be able to extricate yourself from your dream!” he said and frowned. “You won’t be able to leave the Dream Lake!” he added. Kulv looked at Hail, Iero, Reyan and Hierro but he didn’t speak. Then, he turned to Tinum. “Will it be able to pull Blue’s consciousness back to this world?” he asked with a serious expression on his face.

Demon Kings Queen (book two)

Demon Kings Queen (book two)

The thought of my mate made my head flutter, my eyes clenching as I missed his presence around. Lukas woke up in a cold sweat, out of breath and panting hard as he bolted upright in his bed. He felt scared, terrified, absolutely hysterical over what he just dreamed. He didn’t remember much, but what he does remember was fire. The colours of orange and yellow burning away and destroying something pure. He doesn't remember what it was, but it was beautiful. The Sun of God remembered a person too, with eyes the colour of blue crystal. As blue as the ocean, as blue as the sky above. The eyes were full of hope and determination, and the only thing that he could remember before he woke up.

The Rogue's Reluctant Mate

The Rogue's Reluctant Mate

SELENA _____ I woke up slowly, like swimming up from a deep, dark place. My eyelids felt heavy, gritty. For a moment, I didn’t know where I was. The last thing I remembered was the crushing cold, the water filling my lungs, the terrifying certainty of death. But I wasn’t cold now. I was..... warm. Too warm. And soft. Something incredibly soft was under me, around me. I blinked, my vision clearing.

Departure in Despair

Departure in Despair

Since I no longer cared, their regrets didn't affect me in the slightest. "It's almost time for me to return to my world now, right?" I asked the System. The System's eyes flickered. "Of course. Due to your outstanding performance and the misunderstanding, you have suffered in this world. The System will compensate you with extra funds. You must be happy in your world, host." There was a flash, and I felt as though my soul had gone through some kind of barrier. When I opened my eyes once more, I was back in the small apartment in my world. Looking at the familiar environment, I had never felt so comfortable.

The Mysterious Lake

The Mysterious Lake

John replied that that was ok and left the room. Again, the three little investors took there place just like morning. They were looking at here and there around them and sometimes with the binocular. Jerry was looking at the lake and realize that he never seen any movement of the water in the lake. Then he talked with the other two. They were confused whether they have focused on that or not. They were looking at each other. Their faces were seemed like they were happy thinking that they have found out something. In the meantime, they heard a light sparking sound. They noticed that it was coming from an electric transmitter that was behind the lake. And suddenly they heard a vey loud sound.

Tara McKague
it was a very good book. It does however get a little repetitive with the constant backtrack to their emotions. Pages of wallowing on emotions over the past inbetween vital events, which gets broken into small segments with a few paragraphs of dwelling emotions inbetween.
