his voice tumbles deep in my bones, I suddenly feel dehydrated. We walk into his bathroom and the lights come on automatically. He carries up and puts him on the counter. I can feel my whole body come on fire, my whole face feels hot. I shake my head so my hair can cover my tomato face. He bends to open the cabinet below and pulls out a white box which contains first aid materials.

He reaches his hand out to feel the heat, yanking his hand back when he realizes my fire is hotter than a normal fire. Avani makes the ground rumble under our feet and Everett starts to fall over. Kaylani uses her head to catch him. “My element is earth.” Avani says proudly. Zephyr whips up a quick windstorm, blowing all our hair around. “Mine is air.”

Just like water elemental conjurers have healing tendencies, air elemental conjurers instigate peace and a sense of calm over people’s emotions, and then for earth elemental’s, they are more in-tuned to the spiritual aspect of life.”

It danced in my hand, perfectly controlled thanks to my wolf’s presence. I tried not to show the surprise and relief on my face. The fire flickered merrily, casting an orange glow across my skin and reflecting in the doctor’s widening eyes. “So it’s true,” she breathed, taking a step back. “You are an elemental. Fire.” She shook her head frantically. “Do you have any idea how dangerous it is for you to be here? They’ll take you away!”
