The Villainess's Reckoning

The Villainess's Reckoning

"What's she doing here?" The group of socialites visibly stiffened when they saw me. Everyone in high society knew about my reputation. I was known for being arrogant, unhinged, and untouchable. I didn't spare them a glance. Instead, I looked down at Vivian, who was soaked from head to toe. The floating comments began racing across my vision. [The villainess is about to lose it! Vivian, run!] [It's over! Quinn saw the male lead trying to save Vivian. She's definitely going to make Vivian's life a living hell!]

Trapped with the Alpha King

Trapped with the Alpha King

“The prophecy said that when someone is born with the power to control all elements—light, dark, fire, water, earth, wind, and spirit—the world will bend to their will. They could either bring balance… or destroy everything.” Uriel’s eyes narrowed. “So you’re saying this Zander could be that person? But…” Uriel’s words trailed off as realization struck him. His eyes widened, darting toward Gavriel. “Lady Althea… she can also manipulate elements, can’t she?” he finished in a low, uneasy tone.

The Masked Villain Wants to Marry me

The Masked Villain Wants to Marry me

“Haha, you didn’t change the flow of the story. No matter how many times you kill, you’ll only be a villain. Now that you killed the female lead, the chain of the story broke, and you have to pay the price. You have to live forever.” Her mental state was not stable, and she had killed herself a few times. A few years had passed, and Duke Raziel Valen Donovan initiated a coup d’etat. He gathered an army in order to kill all the nobles and end the hierarchy system. When he saw the villainess, he fell to his knees. “Kill me,” Lady Vienna was prepared to die for committing such a grave sin. Tears were in Duke Raziel’s eyes. “If only you loved me, then I’m willing to be the villain.”

Shadows of Heart : The Awakening

Shadows of Heart : The Awakening

“What happens to someone with power over multiple elements? Could they be… dangerous?” “Possibly.” the professor replied, a solemn tone lacing his words. “They may be more vulnerable to corruption. Power is a heavy burden, and mastering multiple elements is akin to walking a thin line between creation and destruction.” As Zoe absorbed his words, she felt a mix of wonder and trepidation. She hadn’t just been granted elemental power - she held all four. Was that what Elara meant when she said she was special, chosen? She had felt the overwhelming energy during her awakening in the meadow, the energy that seemed to burst from her very core. But now, in this room filled with centuries-old knowle

The secret city (Primogentius series Book 1)

The secret city (Primogentius series Book 1)

I assumed that they were the council members. To the left stood a tall man somewhere in his thirties at a guess, his short crop of bright red hair gave away who he was. Crowley Bravon, an Elementalist, his abilities were as you would expect, he had control over all four of the elements, fire water earth and air. It was one of the cooler races I had read about. He was known, according to what Cole had said in one of his lessons, for his love of beasts and promotion of animal welfare rights.

The Dance of Fates: Bellatrix

The Dance of Fates: Bellatrix

No doubt that she has something against Chloe. Crystal Element was one of the tertiary magic that was fused by three or more of the main and secondary elements. It's not as lethal as the Metal or Ice but it upholds the reputation of being one of the flexible and dangerous magic in Demetrius when used offensively. Vivien Li has been known as wielder of such. Lucian smiled as he saw Chloe in her hooded cloak, walking out of the dark entrance and into the battlefield. But it paled in comparison with a Blood Star.

This gave me a great fantasy-themed anime vibes, those series which took place in an entirely different world with loads of adventure to occur. Those who are into adventures with multiple unique characters to choose from would defo enjoy reading this piece.

Rejected mythical Luna

Rejected mythical Luna

One passage made me pause: With great power comes great vulnerability. If your heart wavers, so does your energy. Anchor it to someone—or something—that reminds you of who you are. Immediately, Aries came to mind. His steady voice, his grounding presence, the warmth of his touch. He always brought me back to myself. If only he were here… I shook the thought from my head and looked up at Robin. “What’s next?” I asked. He hesitated. “You’re progressing too quickly, Elegida… but the next part is dangerous. Elemental infusion. Calling the elements into you—not just around you. If you lose control… it could destroy you.”

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Rarer elemental mutants were linked to sensitivity toward metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. In the apocalypse, mutations resonated with these elements differently. For example, the first survivor Hayley ever recruited, Anthony, had been a botanist. He developed wood-element abilities. Leonard's body type leaned toward balance and calm, aligning with water-element traits. Multi-element Gifted were sensitive to more than one element. Thomas, hot-tempered and a former underground fighter, evolved toward fire and metal elements. Then, there were derivative abilities. Liam possessed lightning, ice, and light variants.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!
