The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

“You know what’s funny?” “What?” “I used to think healing would feel dramatic.” She glanced around the apartment softly. “But actually…” A faint laugh escaped her. “…it feels like choosing curtain colors and arguing over bookshelf placement.” God. Adrian laughed quietly. “Which, for the record, you are losing.” “Absolutely not.” “I refuse to let you organize books by emotional vibe.” “It’s called aesthetic intelligence.” “It’s called chaos.” She shoved him lightly while laughing. And God. That sound. That lightness.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Simple. That was the whole account of the rings, and it was accurate. Elijah's ring: he'd described it over months in passing—not as a request, the way you described the things you responded to in the world, the aesthetic preferences that revealed themselves over time. He'd described the jewellery he liked in the context of other things: a piece he'd seen in a gallery, a ring he'd noticed on someone's hand in a restaurant, the specific quality of metalwork that was quiet rather than declarative.

The Alpha CEO and His Unknowing Mate

The Alpha CEO and His Unknowing Mate

Aero walked beside her with detached precision, his attention moving calmly across fabrics, cuts, and colors. Elara reached for a navy blazer. “This doesn’t work,” Aero said immediately. She looked up. “Too soft. Too approachable. Executive presence requires neutrality.” His voice remained emotionless, analytical. “Professional means controlled. Minimalistic. Refined.” Elara nodded slowly, placing it back. They moved through the store together while Aero evaluated every choice she made with unnerving precision. “No patterns.” “Nothing distracting.” “This cut is inefficient.” “Black.” “Gray.” “Sharp lines.”

Aesthetic's POV: “ I see… “ I murmured while looking at Spade's cold eyes then gulped many times to settle this uncomfortable feeling. “ I’m Aesthetic, but you can all call me Thea. “ I stated while wearing a fake smile on my face. How can I even smile if I know that I was sorrounded by these non-human creatures? They're all gorgeous but the fact that they have some hidden fangs inside their mouths make me wanna run away from here.

Traded To The Mafia [Dark Possessive Mafia Romance]

Traded To The Mafia [Dark Possessive Mafia Romance]

“See you in a bit, Ana.” ⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜ Club Eleven was true to its name, standing eleven stories high. With a different theme on each floor, the club offered a unique blend of entertainment. Rumor had it that the higher up you went, the more debauched. Anateya wanted to get to the very top before midnight. “Holy Shit.” Diana whistled, looking her best friend up and down as she got into the limo. “You’ve been hiding a temptress underneath all those oversized hoodies.”

Wicked Vows: The CEO'S Secret Heir

Wicked Vows: The CEO'S Secret Heir

It was mine. Alyssa slowly flipped open her packet, pretending to be unimpressed. “And what exactly do you think Weston wants to desire?” she asked smoothly. “You’ve been away for years. Surely you’ve forgotten that people here don’t care about philosophy or art. They want status. Visibility. They want to be envied.” I tapped a section of the packet and met her gaze directly. “That’s exactly what we’re giving them. This collection isn’t about blending in. It’s about presence. Clean lines. Strong shapes. Colors that bite. Textures that whisper. Everything about it screams confidence.”

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

“I am a function of aesthetic efficiency. Your territory has become a noisy subplot. I am here to quiet it down. To make it… readable.” It gestured with its stylus. From its book, a beam of flat, white light shot out and touched our cottage wall. Where it touched, the texture of the wood—the grain, the knots, the subtle variations in color—smoothed out into a featureless, beige plane. It wasn't erased; it was genericized. This was the worst invasion yet. They weren't trying to destroy or control. They were trying to make us boring. “Over my dead, highly specific body,” I snarled, lightning crackling at my fingertips.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

"I wrote this. I used the pencil. This was supposed to be real!" The little girl with the blue balloon giggled. The sound was like silver bells, but it made my skin crawl. She skipped through the chocolate-mud, her white dress staying perfectly clean. "The Shareholders love 'Realism,' Kaima," she said, popping a small chocolate bubble with her toe. "But they don't like the *uncomfortable* parts of realism. They want the 'Aesthetic' of struggle, but with the comfort of a dessert. It's called 'Gourmet Survival.' It's trending on the Lunar Colonies right now."

No Longer His Convenient Wife

No Longer His Convenient Wife

That’s not a compliment. “That’s the aesthetic we discussed,” Weston reminds her, his tone patient in a way that suggests they’ve had this conversation before. “Farm chic. Rustic elegance. Remember?” “Of course.” Her smile is bright and brittle. “It’s exactly what we talked about.” It’s absolutely not what she wants and we all know it. I make a mental note that Eloise’s moods seem to shift like weather patterns—warm and engaged during the dress fitting, cool and dismissive now.

The Alpha’s Power Play

The Alpha’s Power Play

“Under those corporate parameters, are there specific stylistic vectors your tongue wants my hand to steer his choices toward?” I seized the tactical opening instantly. “Yes. Absolute confirmation. Nothing that translates to a low-tier mate trap. Zero threads that imply a brainless bimbo aesthetic. My image requires an architecture that registers as highly intelligent, yet entirely sharp. Dominant. Historic. Symmetrical cleavage represents a viable asset, but nothing that evokes the visual data of a primitive breeding den pin-up.” “The metrics are logged. My hands will manipulate what we can behind the veil.”
