Who are you?” I correct myself even if the word tastes like poison the moment I use my new rank. “I am Elizabeth, Luna, but everyone calls me Lizzie. I’m so happy that you are here. I was working in the laundry room and have been praying for our alpha to find a mate so that I could start working in his home.” She looks up only once, and I note her cheeks turn bright red.

When we got to the top of the grand steps, Lizzy extended her hand to the Alpha, and said, “I am Elizabeth, daughter of Alpha Issac of the Crescent Moon pack.” The Red Moon pack’s Alpha took Lizzy’s hand into his own, before he said, “I am Alpha Orion, and it is an honor to meet such a gem as yourself.” He then took Lizzy’s hand and pulled it to his lips, placing a soft kiss upon the back of her hand.
