I just wanted to hear you say it out loud.” She blew me a kiss dramatically, then tilted her head with a knowing smile. “Secondly, you’re absolutely right. I think Charity and I will be the best of friends. I heard she broke Ezekiel’s nose, and honestly, I can’t wait to see her. I don’t care what your mate says—we’re seeing her anyway.” She threw a glance toward Jeremy, jutting her chin toward him as though daring him to protest.
