Lake Creek

Lake Creek

'it wasn't. Eleanor sat down and pulled out the book she'd gotten from Gabby. What better way to divert her racing mind? She flipped pages randomly till she came across a page, which wasn't a page. It was cut into, with a smaller book hidden within that took up the rest of the page space underneath. She carefully pulled it out. It was an old brown leather cover with brownish pages. A pretty old book. She gently set down Bigfoot and opened the book, instantly getting sucked in.

You can check out my other books on goodnovel❤️ ELLE BY ONYEMAOBI the heart wrenching events that build up to the disappearance of a town’s girl. Elle Sanders, including it’s shocking aftermath. - Yonsdale was a quiet town, never like the ones you saw on television. They were minute and everything they did was uniformed. They were so little that they knew one another, all too well. And asides that love that they shared, there was peace.

Amid, all the conventional stories, VAMP fearlessly holds its ground. I sincerely appreciate the author for hitting an unconventional world background blended with a murder mystery. Excellent book, I would definitely continue to to see how the story unfolds. 5/5 for the notable efforts.

Taming the varsity player

Taming the varsity player

ELOISE The Weller estate library didn’t feel like a room inside a house; it felt like a cathedral dedicated to whispered secrets. Two stories of dark mahogany shelves stretched all the way to the vaulted ceiling, packed with thousands of leather-bound volumes that smelled of old paper, cedar, and immense, generational wealth. A massive rolling ladder rested against the far wall, disappearing into the upper shadows, and a single, low-hanging amber banker's lamp illuminated the heavy green-felt writing desk in the center of the room.

Reborn Wife Is A Revenge Genuis

Reborn Wife Is A Revenge Genuis

The bedsheet on the bed was wrinkled, indicating someone had slept there. The floors were made out of wood, unlike the other parts of the house. On the wall, there was a small square clock and three blown-out balloons. This made Elsie's brows crease in thought, she scanned the little shelf, there were books by LJ Shen, Colleen Hoover, Ali Hazelwood, Danielle Lori, and so on. "This person must be a great fan of romance," Elsie muttered to herself. There was no sign of her mother's book on the shelf.

Happy New Month Guys!! This is romance which is part of a series but can also be read as a standalone. For those who love completing series check out Redemption's Sweet Temptation too. Feel free to drop your comments here(this page) because I won't be able to read those in the chapters.

Haven’t fully read the first book in series, started to but found this book more intriguing. Love the storyline, it would be nice if you occasionally introduced parts of the back story, but otherwise I really am enjoying the characters. I do think you went a bit overboard with amount of villans

Don't Touch

Don't Touch

I slowly walked away to see what else was around and saw Elliot looking curiously at the books before turning to me. “You can look around if you want. I'll be here,” he said. I nodded and began to explore the store, but I made sure that I was close to him. I was curious about what I'll find and saw a few records on the side of the store then saw the section for video games. I looked around wondering what they had as I came across the science fiction novels and picked out two that caught my attention. I felt like I was gone for more than fifteen minutes and made my way back to see Elliot still looking over at the books; he has three books already in his hands. I walked over to see what type o

cu said, lifting the book. “A guard talking about our God...” I cut him off before he could finish the word “That! A book about our favorite character,” I said hurriedly. I gave him a pointed look. “Maybe when we’re done out west, I can go to Name to look for this lady Eleanor.” “Eleanor?” He looked at me. “Yes, her name is Eleanor.” Wendell interrupted. “Eleanor Winchester, moved to Name a few years ago and became the guardian of the book.”

After that he stood and left me in the room. Now barely an hour later he sends me a trunk full of books. Ella moved to stand behind me and I could hear her sharp intake of breath when her eyes landed on the books. "They're beautiful, right?" Ella only nodded her head and leaned down to touch the spines of one of the books. They weren't really books to be precise, well they were books but not really big ones, almost like journals, just bigger and fresher. The covers were embossed in a beautiful flower pattern, each color having a flower of its corresponding color on it.

Captive Moon: The Alpha's Blood Pact

Captive Moon: The Alpha's Blood Pact

The archives smelled of smoke. Not the cozy kind from the hearth, but the acrid, chemical stench of magic—faint, but enough to make Elara’s scar tingle. She’d spent three days buried in Eleanor’s journals, and still, the words “the fire comes next” burned in her mind like a brand. Ellie sat at her feet, sorting through a pile of leather-bound books, her tiny fingers tracing the sigils on their covers. Every so often, she’d pause, tilt her head as if listening to a secret, and tuck a book aside.

Elliot used his magic to close the door before I could. I rolled my eyes. “How convenient.” He laughed. “What were you doing in the library anyway?” “I was there to get these.” He dropped two giant books on the table. “What are they?” “They are books.” “No silly Elli, what are they about?” He stopped and gave me a stern look. “Silly Elli?” “I think it’s a cute nickname.” “That doesn’t suit the devil.” *** She decided to ask him the question that hovered in her mind. “You’re so nice and sweet. How can you be the same devil that kills and destroy lives? I can’t imagine you hurting anyone.”

Not home. Maybe not yet. But something closer than temporary. The fire crackled softly. Outside, darkness settled fully across the mountains. Eventually, without really planning to, Elara found herself talking. Not about councils. Not about Kael. Not even about Blackwater directly. About books. Darius glanced toward her. "Books?" She smiled faintly. "The old pack library." His expression shifted slightly. "The one you mentioned before?" She nodded. "Nobody used it." The words came more easily than she expected.
