Abigail stood up abruptly, nearly knocking her chair down. “No, no, no, please don't freeze me, Princess Elsa… You know I love you right?” She said dramatically making everyone laugh. “Don't listen to her, Princess Elsa, freeze her now…!” Ariana encouraged Kylie, who stepped out from his father's lap and pointed her index finger at Abigail. “By the power, I have in my hand now, I command you to freeze!” She said, and Abigail playful became a statue. The rest laughed at the scene.

I carefully placed Eve within the reed piles and whispered, “Eve, wait here for me. I’ll go bring the boat over.” Eve nodded obediently. With the cart, it wasn’t long before I pulled the boat into the marsh. I helped Eve onto it, and then, as quietly as I could, I began rowing. Since it was just me, the boat moved slowly, but at least we were heading forward. Soon, we would be out of this terrible place. Eve’s eyes began to sparkle with hope for freedom. However, just then, the boat suddenly hit resistance and wouldn’t move any further.

But apart from the tear, Elsa was frozen to the spot. I pick up a rag and drape it over the gun. Taking it from her, I place it on the ground and kick it away. Pulling Elsa into my arms, she bursts into tears. Sobbing against my chest. “He’s gone.” Zara confirms. Her fingers pressed against Finn’s neck. “Let’s go home.” I mutter to Elsa Elsa’s hand locks with mine as we make our way down to the bottom floor. She spots Kyra’s body and turns her face into my arm.

"Finrod, are there any herbs yet? Yntreia's getting so hungry." "No. We cannot just get any herbs. Some may even be poisonous." The elf said behind her. "Can you be a little faster?" To make the process faster, she tried to find a herb, stepping cautiously as she can hardly see anything. But she accidentally stepped on a rough surface. She lost balance and was about to fall. Let go of me!” “Oh, don’t be dramatic,” Elsa said, her voice smooth as silk. “We’re just having a little fun.” One of the girls handed her a thick black marker. Elsa twirled it between her fingers before popping the cap off with a click.

“These ones have frosting shaped like baby rattles. Is this vanilla or witchcraft?” “Both,” Chelsea said. “Also, don’t eat the ones shaped like dragon eggs—those are filled with lemon-lavender. They bite back.” As more pack members and allies arrived, music played from enchanted speakers (thank you, Chelsea), and the sound of laughter filled the air. There were games—some that involved blindfolded diaper changing and one suspiciously close to axe throwing that Charlie, of all people, dominated. “Did… did he carve that diaper genie out of a tree stump?” Jax asked, slightly alarmed.

“Then we make it up.” The Kids Interrupt Finn’s voice cut through from ahead. “Are you two always this slow?” Liam added immediately, “Or is this a new thing?” Alex didn’t even look up. “Keep walking.” Finn grinned. “Oh, it’s a new thing.” Jake didn’t argue. Didn’t correct it. Just kept walking— closer. They slowed near the edge of a frozen path. Not a rink. Not perfect. Just ice. Natural. Uncontrolled. Jake stepped onto it first.
