Father's Bestfriends: All Yours, Alpha Daddies

Father's Bestfriends: All Yours, Alpha Daddies

We didn't apologize to anyone. But Josh wasn't just anyone. He was our friend. And more importantly, he was Elara's father. Josh stared at us for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then he let out a loud sigh and lowered his head, rubbing his temples. "I should have been there," he said, his voice breaking. "I should have been there for her." "You're here now," I said. "That's what matters." Josh looked up at me, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Is it?" he said. "Because it doesn't feel like it."

Bound to be with the ruthless mafia

Bound to be with the ruthless mafia

None of them did. Her eyes drifted to Josh, who was curled up under the blanket, finally asleep. The poor boy had been quiet for hours before exhaustion took him. The shooting had shaken him deeply. He had just lain there, staring into nothing until his body couldn’t take it anymore. A sharp ache hit Eilleen’s chest. What if the bullet had hit Josh instead of Jocelyn? The thought made her stomach twist. Tears welled in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks before she could stop them.

THE CURSED LUNA

THE CURSED LUNA

Victor stood over Eluned's lifeless body, his eyes were fixed on her pale face. Josh approached him, his eyes was wide with curiosity. "Who is she?" Victor asked, his voice was so low and even. Josh stared at Eluned, his expression unreadable. "I don't know," he replied finally. Just then, one of Victor's men shouted from across the room. "Over here!" Victor turned, his interest piqued. He walked over to the man, who was standing near a bookshelf.

Runaway Groom, Thanks for Setting Me Free

Runaway Groom, Thanks for Setting Me Free

It was Joshua. He'd lost so much weight that I could hardly recognize him. His eyes were now sunken deep into his face, and he gave off a sour, moldy stench. Not a single trace of the erstwhile sophisticated scion remained. When he saw me disembark from the car, his dull eyes became alarmingly bright. He scrambled over like a drowning man grabbing onto a lifeline. "Ellie! Ellie!"

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

“I can—” “You’re making a lot of people stare,” Josh said, wiping the sweat from his face. “What do you want to talk about?” Eli’s face flushed with embarrassment. She took a step back, lowering her head. “I’m sorry—” “Come with me,” Josh cut in, already gathering his things. Eli blinked. “What?” “We can’t talk here,” Josh said shortly. “Come on—we’ll talk outside.” He slung his sports bag over his shoulder and walked ahead, stopping briefly to say goodbye to his teammates. He brushed off their many questions about the girl who had approached him after practice.

Hi author can we shift the tone a bit, I feel like it’s getting repetitive I don’t think it’s necessary to keep bringing up about David, Natalie and Eli relationship and how it’s weird every chapter. It feels like I’m reading the same thing over and over again just worded differently.

The story is really good but I’m still in chapter 410. So not sure how much will happen in the next 600(and counting) chapters. I hope it’s not prolonged too much unnecessarily. I felt a bit cringe with the plot holes like the change in the name of Chase’s dad, or Daven saying Josh was 5 🥲

Traded For His First Love

Traded For His First Love

“Josh is such a good guy, but he’s stuck in this commitment that feels more like an obligation. I hope he finds a way out, or at least… peace.” Elliot, who’d been listening to the conversation while playing with Avie, came over and placed a hand on my shoulder, a comforting gesture. “Josh is tough, Reese,” he said, his voice calm. “He’ll figure it out. Sometimes you need to hit rock bottom to find the right path.”

His Little Snow

His Little Snow

Josh only let a sheepish smile peak out before chirping in with a sly look on his face, "When you put it that way... That's just correct." "Where's Eli?" Josh inquired as he walked towards the table holding up drinks and pizzas, he unscrew a can of beer and started drinking from it immediately. "He's probably inside his house, I think," Auden supplied an answer. "Yo Josh, bring me a beer too," I called out to Josh who was still standing beside the table and leisurely sipping from his beer can. Josh nodded his head since his mouth was currently filled with the liquid of the beer can at the moment before reaching out and picking up another beer from the bucket filled with ice to chill up the d

No Longer Theirs: The One They Can't Replace

No Longer Theirs: The One They Can't Replace

"When I drink too much, I simply can't get hard." Winter and Sasha were stunned. A heavy silence hung in the air. They couldn't believe Elijah felt comfortable enough to share something so personal with them. He was certainly an honest man. Winter clenched her teeth. "Joshua is such a vile and despicable person! To get revenge on you, he's capable of scheming in the lowest, most underhanded ways!" Elijah stared at her flushed face. "Win, are you suggesting that the one who set me up was Jerky Joshy?"

Trapped in the Mafia’s hell

Trapped in the Mafia’s hell

Josh stood in the doorway, phone raised, his eyes widened, pure shock for half a second. Then his gaze darkened; his lips curved into a slow, knowing grin that made a knot form in my stomach. “Jeez, Elias,” he gasped. “I knew you were up to something sneaky when you bolted up here.” He stepped inside and shut the door behind him with a soft click. “But this? With Dad’s underwear?” I could feel the heat burning through my face. I tried to pull the sheet over me, but my body wouldn’t move fast enough. “Please, delete it,” I pleaded. “Josh, I’d do anything, just delete it right now.”

The Strongest God of War

The Strongest God of War

Josh waved his hand as if he didn't want his greatness to be reciprocated, “No, it's nothing.” “But you're really fast, senior,” James said honestly. Josh smiled in response to his two juniors and then replied, “That's not all I've got. I mean my abilities.” He let out a long sigh, “If only I had recovered sooner, I would have been faster than I was.” James immediately locked eyes with Riley. James shook his head, while Riley just shrugged his shoulders, a sign that he didn't know why Josh said that either. After Josh's time was announced, Mary Kesley immediately called out again, “The second candidate is ... Riley Wood.”
