The Witch Luna

The Witch Luna

I used to call them Belle, Gale, and Penelope to distinguish who was who by associating the first letter of their names with their colors. I repeat the process by going to different parts of the forest. I met Akkar and Folduin, the elf brothers, and gnome sisters Moss and Clover. They all reluctantly agreed, and I should be happy about it, but there was an unsettling feeling in the pit of my stomach. Something doesn’t seem right.

Taming the Fire Dragon

Taming the Fire Dragon

He tells him what the elf told us and what we saw. “How many dragons did you smell?” Merellien asks me. Rather than giving him a number, I begin listing them off for Ember. I want her to understand that they are ALL coming for the elves. “I smelled Avani, Tana, Kaylani, Kenna, Anala, Elio, Enya, Daichi, Ajax, Rhys, Enki, Kaze, Terra, Kawai, Ebba, Kano, Amne ...” I continue going through the list, leaving Naida’s name out, since I don’t want Faeler trying to use her against me. As I continue to go through the list, Merellien’s mouth drops open.

Kenna and Yhendorns story was a long time coming, and it was everything I could’ve hoped it’d be! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book - although every story by Cooper is truly a great read. So excited for what’s to come! As always, author - amazing job! :)

Dragon Prince's Heart

Dragon Prince's Heart

asked the elf warrior who came to greet him. “Welcome, Draco, son of Zergenth, Protector Of The Sky, the last dragon of your kind. Why do you come here?” Draco answered confidently. “Ni túl ana cen- moriquende tar-, Ruven Omanelis ar moriquende tar-, Lenna Omanelis. Ni túc- i sarat -o albus ninque. I elder pella I elders,” Draco replied in Elvish. “I come to see Elf King, Ruven Omanelis, and Elf Queen, Lenna Omanelis. I bring the letter from Albus White. The elder beyond the elders.”

Geez, Sis. I cried. Why did Albus so cruel to separate Astrid and Draco? At first, I burst out laughing because I read that a dragon can drink beer, but after a while, my tears flowed without me realizing it. Well, It turns out that Astrid had fallen in love with the black dragon. Poor Astrid. Why?

The Omega's Crown

The Omega's Crown

he said. I thought about the wolf who had told me once — through the specific channel of the dreams, through the breadcrumbs in the library, through the years of pressing against the wall — that names found the people they belonged to. The wolf had been three centuries in this work. There were many women. She had been Elara once, the first Ashvale, and Maren after that, and the two Liriens before me, and me, and now there was a girl in a western country with silver eyes who had been given the name of the first one. The name had found her.

He asked when they finished. “I am Meira Orina Qinyarus and that is my brother Myrin Krislamin Qinyarus,” the female rasped in a weak tone. “Right.” Abram snorted. As if he knew them by name. “We are high elves and were used to be the keeper of secrets centuries ago,” the male explained. “Hmm… Let me guess. When the mad witch wanted some information she kidnapped you, locked you here and tortured you,” Nate intervened. “Yes.” The twin elves said in unison.

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

’ I ask him. ‘Do you have any family names that you want to give to our children?’ He asks me instead. ‘Not really. That’s not how elves work. Why? Is that how it is with dragons? Do you have a family name to pass down?’ I ask. ‘Not a family name, per se, but because I am descended from the earth dragons, I would like my children to have names that mean 'earth', or 'of the earth'.’

This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.

The Rogue Kings II

The Rogue Kings II

Haha. Maybe I should go into the bond? What weaving my bond will do? It’s mostly conjecture at this point. I did root around in a few different covens with Lor. Her family is pretty well known. Usually, they only give the firstborn that last name of Cyprus. She was a twin, though. So they gave her and her sister the last name.

Adventures Of the Crown: The Purple Wolf and the Enerawyn

With a light sigh, she replied with, “not bad, though if I have to tell people one more time; not to call me an elf, I will go crazy!” Fenryn offered a small smile, “unfortunately, you will find very few know any better. From what I understand, it was those born in human lands that gave themselves that name; but who knows?” He said softly. He paused his conversation as several men and women entered the room with a bounty of various foods. Once they excused themselves, Fenryn continued, “I only know as much as I do, because I had the pleasure to have access to my ancestor's records, as well as meeting a small clan once before.” Lynnette gave another sigh, as she nodded. “I can imagine that yo

Silver Oath

Then she spoke, her voice softening. “My name is Elira Vaelthorn. And you’re right—I am no merchant. I am an elf of Sylvaen.” Kaelen blinked. The name stirred faint memories of stories whispered in the tavern, tales of an unseen city hidden deep in the forests, where elves lived beyond the reach of men. “Then why are you here?” he asked. Elira lowered herself against a tree trunk, pressing a hand to her wound. Her silver hair spilled across her shoulders like liquid moonlight. She looked less like a traveler and more like a fallen star.
