The Forsaken

The Forsaken

It wasn't a Youngblood talisman, he knew that much, at least since all the older members in Sonja's coven had it, and its magic source was unusual for witches. If he had to guess, he'd say it was of elven origin. Its power, in the few minutes he'd held the necklace in his hands, had disturbed him more than he'd let on, and it had confirmed what he'd hoped were unfounded suspicions. The Youngbloods had an alliance. Apart from the wolves, Emme, the only remaining elf in town and the only person who never took sides in the past, was now in the witches' corner. And that didn't sit well with Luca—

But I’ll play along. “Be careful,” I murmured. He winked. “Always.” In Morwen’s chamber, the air was thick with incense and intent. She didn’t offer him a seat. She went straight for the throat. “You’re not from the Northern Reach, are you?” she asked, leaning against her desk, arms crossed. Elian blinked, wide-eyed. “I… I am. My grandmother” “Spare me the story,” Morwen cut in. “I’ve read every lineage scroll from the Frost Peaks to the Salt Wastes. There’s no ‘Elian’ in the Northern bloodlines. Not one with silver fire.”

The Golden Dragon's Princess

The Golden Dragon's Princess

“Well, it’s Diandreliera, but that’s a bit of a mouthful, and I don’t think anyone has ever called me by my full name.” “Diandreliera,” he repeated, raising his eyebrows. “That is an Elvish name.” “Yes, my father was of Elvish descent. I think I am named for his great grandmother,” I resumed sorting. “Can I know your name?” “Aurien,” he said thoughtfully. “Or that is close enough.” I pushed the hair back from my face and wiped the sweat off my brow onto my sleeve and wondered what that meant. Was Aurien a shortened version of his name, as Liera was of mine? What language was Aurien part of? “It’s nice to meet you, Aurien.”

Leave it to Everleigh to make a person long for their own broody, sexy dragon. Seriously though, I couldn't put this book down. The world this author has created is so vibrant and fun it makes you want to dive in to the pages.
Sarah.
I really loved the book, I wish there were more like it on this app. The characters are charming and the story is beautifully written, the premise makes me want to continue reading the other books. I hope there will be lots more like this one and maybe even longer

The Great Goblin Emperor

The Great Goblin Emperor

Meanwhile, in a black forest, five black-armored elven men were being bombarded with magic spells and arrows by eight orange color-armored elven men. The five black-armored elven men’s skin was a bit darker than normal elves, their ears were a bit longer and wider, two of them had fangs out from the corner of their mouth. And the orange color-armored elven men, they had an insignia on the chest of the armor, which was designed as a star, a sun and a moon were inside of a circle and the circle was inscribed on a watchtower symbol, it was the insignia of the Eldarin Court Watchers.

Resisting The Savage Alpha Brothers

Resisting The Savage Alpha Brothers

"You make me feel old. It's Elara." "I'll address you that way when you reciprocate," I replied, referencing my father's habit of using our full names. Elara had always been amused by it. He called us by our full names, never shortening them. Caspian Thane Orion Ragnar. Asher Grey Wulf Ragnar. Malachi Kael Darko Ragnar. Neither my brothers nor I enjoyed it, but we couldn't change his ways. It started as a tease, and now it had seemingly become a habit for Elara as well.

Lady of House Alba

Lady of House Alba

It was natural for their children to follow the same line of thoughts, but Tiana was an exception. Perhaps what bothered Elena was, again, the lack of information about everything. Ivar always praised her intelligence yet he would not let her know about what was going on in detail, even if she was already involved just by association. It wasn’t different from being a doll in his estate. For example, he mentioned the Azul Forest and the Earl of Montenegro were involved in the princess’ shady business, but what exactly were they trading? Ivar would not speak clearly about these things, even when they were about to go to that place.

Rising Storm in the Elven Realms

Rising Storm in the Elven Realms

"And who are you?" "He doesn't need to give us his name," Queen Niamh whispered loudly. "Don't interrupt," Lorcan hissed. Niamh sat straighter in her saddle, "This is a surprise visit." "He has no right to be disrespectful," Lorcan said low and steady. "Even a child knows how to greet their King and Queen." Niamh opened her mouth again, but Lorcan was speaking. "What is your name?" The elflord in the green tunic bowed low, "I am Thalanil Gildan, leader of the village of Imnenora. Please, let me show you what has been done."

Kirei’s brow creased as she tried to absorb this information. “No, not really, it was just when I looked up their names they were women who were quite known. There was the Dark Witch who came from the Westershire coven, The Enchantress of the elven forest, there was also the Holy Maiden, and The Sorceress of the twin tower of Gulas to name a few.” Those were the names that she could not forget as they were all well-known magic users even in the east. “But those names were quite renowned, my lady,” Kirei was now breathing harder than normal.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

“Before mankind, when the Fae ruled all corners of this world, the Elves were the next greatest in numbers. When mankind came, during the many wars that were fought as they spread and pushed us back, the Elves divided into two camps. Those that believe that mankind are like children, and need a gentle, guiding hand, to recognise their wrongs and to learn and grow from them, and those that see mankind as a plague, that needs to be eradicated to the last child. “They began to call themselves the Light and the Dark. The last great wars were devastating on the numbers of the Dark Elves, and they withdrew into this mountain range. We believe they wait until they are again many and then will resum

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Queen Of Two Packs: Broken Luna

Queen Of Two Packs: Broken Luna

Elara looked up to the owner of the hands, her eyes collided with piercing grey ones. "Forgive me. I did not mean to scare you" the owner of the hands and eyes said. "Elara Martinns, Luna of the night light pack. And you are?" "Luna... Interesting. Call me Riven." "I've never heard of an Alpha Riven before" Elara said, stepping back from him. "Really? My name always raises eyebrows and turns heads. You've been very sheltered, my Lady." Elara almost blushed at his insinuation. Truly, she had never left the pack grounds in the five years since she came to this pack.
