Chapter 3 Ava~~~ The evening bustled in ecstasy accompanied with the whooshing cool breeze, looking down from the window in the room I was given to stay, I smiled at how everyone bounced in joy and gracefulness. Surely, the Lycans pack was the lively one and everyone was happy because today was their banquet. When we finished it was well past eleven, but we had plenty to show for it. As I surveyed our handiwork, I couldn't help but feel a swell of pride. Rows of vials and bottles lined the kitchen table, each filled with a different concoction designed to both annoy and inflict pain. The first row gleamed with a crimson and orange liquid that seemed to dance and swirl of its own accord. Nicholas’s Fyre serum could burn through metal, which meant demon flesh should be nothing. Those were only to be used as a last resort since only Ysenia’s Elixir could extinguish the flames.

He really doesn't have anywhere else to spend them. Hence he provides for the little pack members even if they have parents who can comfortably provide for them. But he had a few rules. After becoming a teenager, the little pack members must get a job. The goal was to make them feel more independent. "You are right. What do you want to do? What are your educational qualifications?" He asked because he couldn't decide something without knowing her qualifications.

I look at him for a moment seeing that he really doesn't know who I'm talking about. "Are you serious?" Max asks him looking just as confused as Ryan. "Do I suppose to know who this Lycan is or something?" Ryan looking lost. "Dude where the fuck have you been, under a rock?" Max says. "A Lycan is the original breed of werewolves, but they all died off many years ago. The Lycan king was locked away long before any of us was born," I tell Ryan before looking back down at Lester, hearing a couple of groans come from him as Donna stitch up his wounds.

That led to extinction of the wild creatures. "That can't be true, royalties are the only ones who are able to read that, Sylvia." Bella utters with confusion marked at her face. "They're the Lycans" I said with my low voice slowly stroking the book. I got so intrigued that I wanted to know more information about them.

Her mother's instincts were too strong to know what kind of person her son was. Damian just looked away, thinking about what to tell next so that he could avoid choosing anyone in the ceremony. Eliza gently put her hand on his which was resting on the table and made him look her in the eye. " You are a Lycan King, we don't randomly just select anyone to be our mate, it's our destiny and heart which makes us identify the real mate. If you have already found your mate, it's only normal for you not to select anyone ", She understood the feelings of her son without him saying anything.

But it worked. She bought it. Vivianne’s gaze darkened, but she masked it quickly. “Enjoy the night,” she said before walking away pulling Elias along with her. I exhaled shakily once she was gone. Lucien looked at me with open amusement. “Well done.” “I wasn’t trying to impress you.” “Yet you did,” he said lightly. “You’re learning how this game works.” I clenched my jaw. “I don’t want to play your games.”

The corners of her mouth lifted in a sly smile, confident that Elias's curiosity about Summer would tip the scales in her favor. As Elias and Coleman exchanged pleasantries, the atmosphere grew thick with unspoken tension. Coleman, oblivious to Jessica's true intentions, chuckled at Elias's probing question. "What do you mean she's not a Lycan, fox, or cheetah? What's wrong with that?" Elias smirked, his gaze still locked on Summer. "Nothing at all. Just an observation. You know how we are about our kind. It's a pack thing." He folded his arms, a casual façade masking the strategic mind at work.

He looked at her, his expression was impassive and his deep-set eyes portrayed no feelings. “Thank you,” Riley said, getting to her feet. He arched an eyebrow at her, “Thank you?” She nodded, “Yes, thank you for rescuing me from whatever was going on there.” “Lycans.” He said with fury in his eyes. “Those bloody Lycans invaded the pack and they’re attacking everyone. This spells a new beginning for me then.” He averted his eyes from her so she wouldn’t see the murderous glint in them.

Ely exclaimed and Lucifer became silent when he saw Ely crying forever. "I'm sorry. Let's not fight anymore. Maybe Tita Arra will get up." Lucifer's promise. "I don't know about you!" Ely exclaimed. "Let's ice cream." Lucifer joked hard as he squeezed Ely's soy sauce. "We can go with the adobo. Both have Toyo." Lucifer whispered. "You're the strong Toyo! I'll bite your ice cream. Remember that, when you're not sure!" Ely's promise. Even though he screamed a few more times, he didn't respond because of Lucifer's barking.
