His gaze finally fixes on my arm and he walks forward, peering it into it curiously. "Is it….is it really better?". He asks, his voice full of concern. To further prove it, I raise my arm the best height I've practiced it to get to and I see his eyes widen in bewilderment. He lets out a delighted chuckle and reaches forward to carefully examine my limb. "It's really better". He whispers. He looks at me then, his eyes filled with so much love and warmth that I feel my chest constrict in response. Abruptly, he reaches forward and engulfs me, wrapping his arms around me in a cautious but firm hug. I let my lips widen into a smile as my face presses into his shirt.

"May I give you a hug?" I opened my arms and we embraced. Somehow it felt like feeling my mother's arms around me, because they were the arms of a loving mother who had searched for her daughter for so long but could move forward. We stayed embraced for a while, and when we pulled apart, she still caressed my face.

Tears caressed my cheeks as I grabbed what I could possibly find to throw as I shouted random words and sentences of how I hated this sick twisted reality. Suddenly, someone grabbed a hold my arm pulling me into a muscled chest. His large arms caged my tiny frame, preventing me from moving away and break yet another piece of object that was in the room. I whimpered tightly holding onto his shirt. By the familiar arms and touch I knew exactly who was embracing me. The very same arms that held me last night was holding me now, as I sobbed into his chest.

That was all the confirmation Artemy needed. He enveloped me in his arms, pulling me close to his body, providing a secure sanctuary within his embrace. My head rested above his heart, and I closed my eyes, tuning in to its steady rhythm. Placing my hands on his chest, I nestled into his form, allowing myself to melt into his warm, tender hold. My fingers clung tightly to the fabric of his jacket, afraid to let go. His warmth encased me, filling my senses until all I could perceive, feel, and think about was him.

I whispered, my voice a blend of confusion and concern. He didn’t hesitate. Without a word, he stepped forward, his arms opening as if reaching for me. The moment I let myself go and stepped into his embrace, I felt an unexpected warmth seep into my bones. His arms wrapped around me, secure and familiar, and for a heartbeat, the tension between us seemed to melt away.

I yelled out. "It will be my pleasure to do that, sounds great," he said, stepping closer to me. He grabbed by the arm, scooping me into his arms like I weighed nothing. I yelped loudly as he sat on one of the plus seats and tossed me over his laps. I tried pushing him off, but he was way to stronger than me. He raised his hands higher in the air threatingly. "Please don't." I begged. "Tsk..tsk.... Are you really begging ?" he asked taping my butt.

He lies comfortably naked, while I shiver with cold despite wearing clothes. He notices that I’m feeling cold, so he opens his arms for me. “Come here, Little Miss. You’ll feel warmer.” Without thinking anything, I move closer and rest my head on his chest. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his warmth. The steady rhythm of his heartbeat fills my ears, making me feel so calm. His embrace feels protective, like nothing bad can touch me when I’m with him. His arms feel like home—safe, warm, and comfortable.

I was a little too surprised when Kathleen suddenly leaned forward and wrapped her arms around me in a tight embrace. I froze, not sure how to react. But the hug felt warm and comforting, completely therapeutic. I couldn't help but melt into it, my body relaxing against hers. The tension drained from my shoulders, and my heart started to beat a little faster. I found myself returning her hug, my arms moving to wrap around her.

Nicole felt happy to see that her son was quickly adapting to her family. He went from one set of arms to another, and everyone was delighted with him. They ate amidst laughter and jokes, and for the first time in a long time, Nicole felt truly free. After a while, she heard the doorbell ring. Nicole stood up and headed towards the door to see who it was. When she opened it, she was surprised to find Bruno standing in front of her. He had his arms crossed over his chest, wearing a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves and jeans. Nicole looked him up and down, realizing that he still stirred up the same emotions in her. She cleared her mind to be able to speak.

He didn’t reach for me. I reached out first. His embrace wasn’t what I imagined. It wasn’t forceful. It didn’t cling like a man afraid to lose. He held me gently, cautiously, as if my body were cracked porcelain that might shatter with pressure. His arms encircled my back—not to restrain, only to accompany. He said nothing. He simply held me tighter, resting his chin lightly atop my head.
