The first rays of sunlight peeked over the horizon, gently illuminating the streets of Emeridia. Aric stood at the window of his modest home, his gaze fixed on the bustling city below. She said, barely above a whisper. The door suddenly opened and in came Alec and Astrid, they smiled at her and Eden wiped her tears and walked to them. “Bad news, unfortunately. We lost the car, they passed through an abandoned neighbourhood with no cameras, and finding them through satellite cameras would take months. We tried everything, and we think Elijah’s gone off the grid.” Astrid said and Eden sighed. “Hear that Malakai, that’s why we need you.” Alec said over Eden’s shoulder who let out a little laugh.

//end of Flashback// Then I was pulled back from my reverie when I heard a loud car honk. I sigh then got out of my car, I entered Zion's store and got what I needed.
