I begged, wanting to know what was wrong at the moment. “Lilian, that woman in there is your mother, and Emery, Emery isn’t her daughter,” she said as I staggered backwards. “You’re joking, right? Tell me it’s a joke , Mother, hahaha, so funny…” I laughed, not wanting to believe her. How can that woman be my mother when she’s a she-wolf? Emilia is a she-wolf same with Emery. Even if she can’t shift but she can feel her mate, which shows she’s a wolf, so that woman being my mother isn’t adding up.

Checking the expiration date. Emily reached for it, a smile spreading across her face. "Put it back now!" The voice came from behind her. It was cold and too familiar. Dripping with contempt. Emily's brows furrowed as she turned. Emilia stood there, her arms crossed, her eyes blazing with barely contained fury. She was dressed in designer clothes, her hair perfectly styled, her face a mask of arrogant superiority. "Excuse me?" Emily said raising an eyebrow of ridicule. "I said put it back." Emilia stepped closer. "That cereal can never be for you."

She must have come back to the office. Her desk was empty when I got there. Alexander was on his way to my office. “Mr Riorson, there are some…” “Where is Emilia?” I asked, pointing to the empty desk. “Is she back?” “What?” Alexander asked, surprised. “She left the shop earlier. I assumed she must have come back here," I explained. “She isn’t coming back today or tomorrow. She took two days off," he said. “What?” My voice was loud. “Who approved it?”

“You all should have died today. All of you! Every last one of you—” Emilia yanked her hair so hard Soraya choked on her own words. Then she looked at the crowd again. “First,” Emilia said, voice rising, “she cursed the king.” Shock spread through the wolves like a cold wind. My heart slammed against my ribs. She had been behind everything. Every sleepless night. Every battle inside my own head. Every moment I thought I was a monster. Someone I trusted. Someone my parents trusted. Emilia continued, shifting Soraya’s head so the battlefield could see her clearly.

“I even picked my best shirt. Emilia has hers on too. She said she wants to look like a princess today.” My chest tightened at his words, a wave of emotion crashing over me. Emilia wanted to look like a princess because today, for the first time in her life, she would be chosen, celebrated, and claimed. I rose from the bed and followed Luca to the hallway, finding Emilia standing there shyly, holding the hem of her dress. It was a simple pale yellow dress we had picked out together, but on her, it was stunning. She looked so small and delicate, her big eyes wide with nervous anticipation.

My stomach churns as I watch Emilia stride in. I can now clearly see where we are. It looks like an abandoned cathedral or church, and it is massive. Emilia confidently strides forward, her heels clicking against the stone floor of the expansive hall as she moves to the front. My eyes land on the person behind her, following closely like a shadow, and I frown. It’s Raul. The sight of him makes my blood boil. How could he do this? My brother. Emilia positions herself on what looks like a pulpit. She looks at me and smiles, her red lipstick matching her dress—a perfect representation of just how evil she is. She motions to Raul. “Get her seated.”

Emilia POV Today was my first day at Willowbrook High School, the most prestigious school. My heart pounded with excitement and my nerves tensed up as I walked across the campus of Willowbrook with my school bag hanging on my broad shoulders. My name is Emilia, a half-witch and half-wolf Luna, which was deemed a curse in the entire wolven world. This school has always been my dream. I had always longed to be a part of the school. I examined the school buildings; it was fascinating and well-decorated, living up to its name.

Lady Emily did not bother following Emery and just went about her way, looking for something she could get for the emperor as well. Though she was not that lucky to find anything else besides wild rabbits. After wandering about for half an hour, she stumbled upon Emperor Claus who immediately had a white-tailed deer behind him. “Where is Lady Emery?” he asked. “I thought you were with her.” “She dashed off and told me not to follow her,” she replied with a small smile before shrugging her shoulders. “I guess she did not want to share the lynx she is about to take down.”

Emma chipped in. Eve turned towards the two womaen asking her the same question repeatedly and yelled angryly. “I said i don't know. What else do you want me to say? I came alone.”and again, Her hands played with her earrings. “Fine then.”Emma voice potrayed wrath, “Then i won't hesitate to show you that you're nothing but a dog used by the organization.” She picked her phone, dialed a number and the person picked at the first ring.
