Brooklyn used her hands to make quotation marks in the air.
“You turned him down, right?” Cort asked, his brow furrowed.
“Of course I did,” Brooklyn said, frowning. “He’s definitely not my type. I can’t stand arrogant men.”
Before Cort could respond, Shea and Bradford walked up.
“Who was the hot guy you were talking to, Brooklyn?” Shea asked with a grin.
“I’m right here,” Bradford said, raising one eyebrow.
Shea turned to him and kissed his cheek.
“And you’re the hottest guy here,” she told him. “But, admit it, you’ve been looking at some of these gorgeous ladies.”
