~Sienna~ The door is left open when I arrive. Norman stand by his desk, his back to me, his suit jacket lies discarded on the back of his chair. “Don’t move.” He says as the door softly clicks shut. My body flush red, my eyes fixed on the back of his head. My legs tremble slightly, still unsteady from earlier. Norman turns around slowly, eyes sharp and intense, raw with heat. The top buttons of his shirt are undone, exposing a glimpse of his broad hairy chest.

Dexter’s expression twisted as he was about to respond, but Layson hung up the call. Adela couldn’t understand why Dexter reacted that way, but one thing was clear—Dexter and Layson knew each other. I feel her relax into me and when I pull back, I can see the slight glaze over her eyes and smile a little. I then open the door to Norman’s office and step inside. I feel Emma tense as I give her a little tug, making her enter the room with me. I don’t miss the shock and anger that passes over his face very quickly before he covers it, confirming that he had wanted Emma in here on her own. I wait until I am in the middle of his office and watch as Norman stands and makes his way around his desk to stand in front of me before asking, “So, Norman, what is the news?”
