“You? Focusing on yourself? Since when?” Mirabel let out a small sigh, her gaze drifting away for a moment. “Since I had to.” David frowned. “Had to? What does that mean?” She looked back at him, her eyes softer now, but there was still a weight behind them. “I was pregnant ten years ago, David.” His eyes widened. “What?” Mirabel nodded, her voice steady but low. “I was pregnant. And the child you saw with me today... that’s my son.”

"Mirabel?" Connor repeated as he stared intently at her. She smiled back in return and stretched her hand forward for a handshake. Carolina saw the way Connor's face lightened up on seeing her, causing her to wonder who Mirabel was. The lady whom Connor had addressed as Mirabel had long dark hair that fell on her back. Everything about her screamed class and with the way her simple outfits accentuated her curves, someone would know that she was drowned in luxury. "Yes, Mirabel" Connor and Mirabel both exchanged a handshake while Connor's eyes lit up as if he had seen a unicorn as he laughed awkwardly.

She was nervous, playing with her nails. “This is Mirabel. She is a 30-year-old demon and her family gave her to the palace to work as a maid,” he read. Wow, they gave her away? I think that is sad. But I like her though. I looked at Sky and he was looking into her soul, but didn’t make a sound. “I like her,” I said. “Okay, she will be your personal maid while the other one will be for Sky,” Asher said, pointing to the other girl beside Mirabel. I glanced behind her, at Zeke who didn't look so pleased. Darcel was taller than me, by a foot. Her hair lay in waves across her shoulders. She was a slender beauty, and I couldn't help but feel... jealous.

"I will be singing Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley my all-time favourite," Mirabel answered with a sweet smile.

Encanto was a relatively new Disney cartoon, wow, I was impressed. She nodded and clapped her hands, " Good job, one good star for you." She placed a star-shaped waffle on his plate and he beamed, flashing his pearly whites.
