It’s almost like a living stasis chamber, but instead of sleeping, you are awake for all of time. It would have been nice to have some company, well some nice company anyway.” A light groan and laugh could be heard only feet from where Miriam was hiding.

She glanced down at the black and white photo with widened eyes. Her face was a perfect face of shock, "So?" Emlyn asked, gleefully. She looked at her stomach and then back at her hand, "Yeah! I don't know what to say." She gnawed on her lower lip as she blushed. Emlyn frowned, "You'll love this journey." She said, She nodded thoughtfully, "Elizabeth wants grandchildren." "Alessandro?" She asked. "He wants babies, too." She said.

"Oh, really? And what kind of adventures do you have in mind, Mr. Adventurous?" Aiden's grin widened, his imagination running wild. "Well, how about we take that road trip we've always talked about? Just you, me, and the open road. We'll create memories that will make others envious." Emily's eyes lit up, the prospect of such a journey igniting a flicker of anticipation within her. "That sounds amazing! We'll explore new places, try exotic foods, and laugh until our sides hurt. It'll be a trip of a lifetime."

The coworker answered vaguely, "Someone who was trapped by love... "Just throw it away. It's bad luck." The young nurse nodded, still slightly confused. Then she casually tossed the letter into the trash. A breeze drifted in from somewhere unknown and lifted the paper. On it was only a single sentence.
