Enemies Movie Novels & Stories

“Unless he changed. What’s your deal with him, anyway?” “He almost killed my men.” My jaw dropped. “Well, shit. So we have a common enemy, after all. An enemy of my enemy is my friend. Isn’t that what they say?” “Who killed your parents?” “I don’t wanna talk about it.”

Turning back, my cheeks heated into a blush, and I questioned Anji, “Really? Did Alpha Xander stare at me?” “Yes,” Anji replied, then she paused, “But why do you sound excited about that?” “Nothing... And I was not excited at all. It was just a question.” “I hope you remember your deal with Alpha Darwin...” “Deal? How did you know?” I questioned, creasing my brows. Is she Alpha Darwin’s spy who is pretending to be my assistant? “I was aware of it. Also, there is one thing you should always remember... Never fall in love with your enemy,” Anji spoke, sounding strict and sincere as she said her last statement slowly and clearly.

He spoke to me like he was talking to a little girl. I nodded, feeling my lower lip tremble. “You’re mean,” I pouted. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to the beach, and when I get back, I want to see my room normal again. We’re enemies here, I get it, but outside, it’ll be like we’re the best friends in the world.” I patted his shoulder. “I don’t see you as my enemy, Amanda. You see me as a threat because of everything with the trial, I know, but I’m just trying to do the right thing,” he said seriously.

After all she is the enemy here, and in my territory. I woke up the next morning feeling groggy. It’s not like I got much sleep after finding out my mate is the enemy. But now that I know, it’s my mission to make her life a living h*ll and destroy her. I will make her bow down to my feet and she watches her precious kingdom fall.

“He probably wants another round. I could go over and punch him.” “Or he’s obsessed, with his hatred ” Oliver said, smirking. “You sure he’s not planning evil?” Austin rolled his eyes. “Can we talk about something else?” Meanwhile, at the other end of the hall, Brian’s own friends were watching. Matteo sat opposite them while James sat beside Brian. James leaned in. “Well well two enemies working together” Brian snickered “You are one to talk, weren’t you paired with Benjamin?” James laughed “Come on buddy, I am not enemies with Austin’s friends”

I looked at Scarlett with too many questions on my mind, and zero answers to any of them. “You will have access to everything you need.” Timber added. If only he knew that we had just seven days left. “It's a deal if you let me beat the shit out of your son if he gets out of whatever state he's in.” Scarlett said, almost making me chuckle. “Deal.” Timber North smirked. What do they say… ? The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

Their boots were caked with the day’s mud, their cloaks hung by the fire to dry, everything about them screamed the daily beta routine, steady, unbroken nothing was suspicious. They looked up when I entered, surprised, but not fearful. Not like men who had slipped away into the night to poison someone and then watch by the woods. I stood frozen in the doorway, my throat tight, my chest aching. It wasn’t Darren. It wasn’t Elara. It wasn’t Marv. It wasn’t Kellen. Then who was it? The stranger’s words tore back through me, sharp as glass. ‘You think you know your enemies, but you don’t even know who your real enemies are.’

This time, with my shoes on. ========== I faced my worst enemy. I had stared down terrible men, and one woman. But this was my one, true enemy. No one else bore that title. Every other person I had encountered was either a competitor or a target I had been paid to deal with. Financially. Structurally. It was never personal. Not like it was with this devil. I was dressed, head to toe, in black. Tonight was the end of everything. I had my usual weapons on me, but most of them required me to be much closer to the devil than I wanted to be.

Until hate starts feeling dangerously close to something else. After all, the only thing worse than living with your enemy… …is falling in love with him.

Jaw tight. Chest heavier than it should’ve been. “…yeah,” he muttered under his breath. “Guess we’re back to enemies.” But even as he said it— It didn’t feel the same anymore.
