I murmur, my nails digging into the jacket. Her swollen lips twist. “What did you just say?” ** Bullying is a harmful and destructive behavior that affects people of all ages and backgrounds. It occurs when someone uses power, force, threats, or other forms of coercion to scare, humiliate, or control another person. Bullying can take many forms, from school bullying to workplace harassment, and can have a profound impact on the victim's mental and emotional well-being.

You can’t just pretend they don’t scare you,” he argued, his voice louder now, drawing attention from nearby students. “Everyone sees how they bully you, and yet, no one, not one person, has ever dared to stop them. Do you think I'm any different from the others? Maybe you should try standing up to them before you judge me.”

I felt like a child, exposed and humiliated in front of my sister. Sienna and Beatrice wasted no time in bursting into loud chaotic laughter which made tears build up around my eyeballs. “I eat as much as I need to survive this family, Mr.Julian, I snapped back with trembling voice and controlling tears acting as a shield for my crumbling pride. “Perhaps if you spent less time at the gym and more time on your personality, you wouldn’t have to buy a wife.” The room went deathly silent. Beatrice gasped. Julian’s eyes narrowed. He stepped closer leaning down until his lips brushed against the shell of my ear.

I bite the inside of my cheek and grab the bottle anyway. Kael finishes his drill and turns toward the commotion. He wipes a towel across his neck. He watches me scramble in the dust. He does not stop the girls. He does not reprimand them. He just stares at me with a dark, arrogant amusement.

I blinked once at him "Oh" That was the only word I could say at the moment. I think he was worried he hurt her with his words or something. I don't think I've ever seen him look worried after verbally bullying me in the classroom, in the hallway and in the cafeteria. It shows that he does not give a shit about me, but he cared for Sheila and still cares about her. "You know what Virgin?" His rhetorical question interrupted the thoughts on my mind. "It's a good thing I got to see your beautiful face tonight"

Countless emotions began to overwhelm Vanessa, making her flustered and at a loss. "Big bad guy! Big bad guy! You are the big bad guy!" Lawrie suddenly screamed uncontrollably. He struggled to get up and wanted to push Julien away. He shouted the loudest he could, "Big bad guy, I will not let you bully my mommy! Don't you dare to bully her!" Vanessa pushed Julien away and hugged Lawrie, who had gone out of control. "Lawrie, there's no big bad guy here. No one is bullying me too. Don't be afraid, okay?"

I hug her, not wanting her to see the tears in my eyes. The next morning, we arrived at school, and as soon as we got down from the car, a crowd surrounded us, and I knew what was coming. “Leon, don’t tell you are now with the school cafeteria’s top customer?” A guy said, pulling his head back. “Are you now interested in fat girls? You can probably carry her with all that strength.” The crowd started laughing, but my eyes were focused on Leon. There was a small speck of hope, maybe this time; he would stand up for me.
