The man inclines his head impressed, “We are Fjorulalli. Beach walkers, a sort of shifter. Somewhere between a wolf and a beaver. When we shift, we retain a part of the sea we were made from. We smell of the sea no matter how far from it we are. My sister and I chose the Guild over our Clan, and it was not a popular choice with them.” Kai nods, “But we are happy and free of our parents. It’s a good life. But we have missed working with her.” Kai smiles at him, “I understand that. She is remarkable.” Kai looks over at her and Ash follows his gaze; Eliza is leaning against the wall trying to not look like she’s about to fall over. Ash inclines his head to Jon, and moves to her.

Long claws appear at the end of her fingers. I hear how her spine crackles as it lengthens. She growls as her clothes rip and her muscles expand. I had never seen her shift. Her Lycan towers over me and she growls as another Lycan steps out of the forest. Her blue eyes give her away. Luna Charlotte. I wish it were Jaxon. I really hoped he was okay. I hoped that my feelings from before were wrong.

This means he has mastered not just one animal tribe, but the chimera power itself. It is safe to say that he is in fact not a shifter anymore, but soloy a chimera.
