Esther said softly, though she wasn't. The elevator opened and she entered, going up to the next floor. As she tried to suck in deep breaths so that she would get the courage to open the kitchen door and step inside, she froze as something caught her attention in the far corner. Turning a bit so that they wouldn't catch sight of her, she managed to make out the features of Alpha Damien and his girlfriend, Elle, sitting at the dining table and having dinner.
