The locker room was empty now except for Ethan, who was pulling out his own gear from a new locker.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” Jax growled, voice low and dangerous as he closed the distance.
Ethan turned slowly, that same smirk from earlier returning. “Relax, cousin. I told you, I skate here now. Vera enrolled me. Small world, huh?”
Jax grabbed the front of Ethan’s shirt, slamming him back against the lockers with a metallic clang. “Stay the hell away from Elias. I mean it.”
Ethan didn’t look scared. Instead, his smirk deepened. He reached up, wrapping his hand around the back of Jax’s neck, pulling him closer. “Why? Jealous? Or scared I’ll take what you want?”
