The Charismatic CEO Wants His Ex-wife And Babies Back

The Charismatic CEO Wants His Ex-wife And Babies Back

Ethan asked, as he swirled between the shelves on the revolving ladder, searching curiously for some books he knew were somewhere in that library; The ones that talked about women analogy. He had always seen Ava come to the library to read some particular books in the past, and she always seemed so deeply engrossed in them whenever she was reading them with a smile. She even wrote out the words sometimes into her book like she was taking some kind of lessons from it. Though he didn't know if it could be related to touching a place in her heart, he thought finding them and reading what it was about might help. "I wanted to make the reports about today, sir," Jesse answered.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“Your present.” A creeping smile stole over Evelyn’s face as she reached for it. Tugging the ribbon free, she turned the package over, opening the paper to find a book. “Field Engineering,” she read, opening the small hardcover and skimming the table of contents, then gasped with a beaming smile. “It’s about streamliners! This is wonderful! Thank you!”

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

The Forbidden Fruit: My Alpha Step-Uncle

The Forbidden Fruit: My Alpha Step-Uncle

I shook the image of Hunter heaving hard in the steam of his passion out of my mind and sat across the counter from Eva, who was about to grab an apple when she remembered something dreadful and recoiled her hand. “There was nothing in Vale’s computer. Nothing in the books or anywhere in the study.” She sighed in disappointment that matched mine. “He’s really careful. I can’t find anything.” But Val had specifically said that Hunter made him tamper with the books. There must be something—but where would he have hidden them? “Not even a secret basement?” At that, Eva’s gaze quivered, her throat swallowed as though there was a horrid taste in her mouth. “There is.” I leaned in while she drew i

Fyi, Mr. Ex, I am Billionaire's Heiress

Fyi, Mr. Ex, I am Billionaire's Heiress

"It's okay. Whatever happened to her, at least you and Peter tried to bring her back to goodness and for those of you who are still alive, that's good enough." Eva's face looked a little brighter now. I thought that she really tried hard to change for the better and I was grateful for her. "Have you read the book I gave you?" I asked, changing the subject to another direction. "You said you were interested in marketing, right? That's why I gave you the book." "Yes, Leora. I've almost finished reading it and I think I'll go back to it soon when I'm done. It's a great book," Eva said enthusiastically. "I think, if Peter allows me to go back to college, I'll take marketing."

Step Too Far: Ruined By Him

Step Too Far: Ruined By Him

He looks impressed, “Your mom tells me that you love reading. What’s your favorite book?” I glance at Mom, her face turning pink while Lacey looks down at her plate and starts eating. “I like E.L. James, Carly Phillips, Harper Sloan, and Nora Roberts. I’d happily curl up with any one of their books.” He frowns, “I’ve heard of Nora Roberts, but haven’t read any of her books, the others I can’t say I’ve ever heard of them.” “Oh you’d have heard of E.L. James, she wrote Fifty Shades Of Grey.” Lacey pipes up, and I watch in amusement as Harrison’s face falls as he realizes exactly what Fifty is all about. “What about you, Mr. Brady, do you read?”

MORE THAN A STRANGER

MORE THAN A STRANGER

It was quiet, almost sacred, with sunlight streaming through the large windows and rows of books inviting me to lose myself in their worlds. I wandered through the aisles aimlessly until I stumbled across a section on business biographies. My fingers hovered over the spines until I spotted one that looked familiar: Against All Odds: The Rise of Evan Bennett. I pulled the book from the shelf, my heart racing. I hadn't known a biography about him existed. The cover featured a candid photo of Evan, his piercing eyes staring directly at the camera.

Fatal Attraction: My Professor is the Last Alpha

"Ah!" The library ladder was busy. Eva had stretched on her toes to get the book, overestimating her height, only the tip of her finger brushing the book she wanted. She struggled and managed to pull it free—then felt someone come close behind her. That was what startled her first, and then she was falling.

My Blind Princess

My Blind Princess

He was currently snoring. "I found a good book this morning but unfortunately it's not in braille. Mother read me the title and I'm very intrigued by it. But in my rush to get here I left it on the library table." Eva sighed in disappointment. "What was the title?" "Vampires and Their Beloveds" "I'm not Author but I'm pretty sure the book is based on Vampires and their beloveds." Alana snickered out. "Why do you insist on ruining things with your words?" Eva questioned in annoyance. If she knew how she would roll her eyes at her best friend. Not that it really mattered anyway.

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

“You realize she’s going to memorize this place by the time she’s five.” “I know,” Evelyn murmured, pride threaded through her voice. On the rug, Eva had already chosen. The book was thick, with a worn blue cover and an illustration of a dragon coiled around a tower. She sat cross - legged, fingers pressing lightly against the embossed scales on the cover before opening it. The illustrations inside were rich — watercolor skies, mountains, and dragons with eyes like jewels. Her small voice read the shapes of the letters aloud, haltingly, not yet forming the full words but tasting their rhythm. She traced the dragon’s curved horns, then its tail, then the tower stones one by one.

His Captive Mate

His Captive Mate

Eva comes and adds another book. This continues for a few minutes before Eva gives up. She’d kept ten books balanced easily. Her neck aches, but she has clearly shown the poise Eva is looking for. Eva takes the books back, and asks Celine to do the same thing, this time without the books. Eva watches closely, but seems to find no fault in how she was walking now. Eva nods, and holds out three different and slightly thicker books.
