Mia wrapped her coat tighter around herself, watching waves crash rhythmically below. “It’s beautiful,” she admitted. “It reminds me why I race,” he said quietly. Beyond that, a forest so dense it looked like spilled ink across the horizon. Jaiden walked back to the table taking his pen and again engrossed himself in the work. LUNA The bus was moving steadily on the road heading to the forest.
