The Luna's Rejected Assassin

The Luna's Rejected Assassin

My heart was in my stomach as I wrote down the details, fighting the urge to throw up as I urgently scribbled the remnants of my memory. -------- Bloodshot, tear-stained grey eyes looking through smoke, a golden goblet with rubies around the rim. A man with three scars across his neck, dressed in black, stood over the lifeless body of Alexander who was bleeding heavily somewhere outdoors -------- At least you have a starting point Fyre muttered in an attempt to remain positive. I wrote every dream down and then locked the notebook away but after a week of waking up in terror, I needed to stop kidding myself. Every night so far the dream ended with me hearing my own heart-rending scream. Than

This book follows from “The Banished Alpha” and I love how it continues from those previous events but in new perspectives. It’s a wonderful book about redemption, moving forward and love. Bella had such an amazing character growth that felt relatable and honest. And I just adore grumpy Lucien!

This story was so different and realistic, it is one of the few books I read right to the end without skipping pages or chapters, a “feel good” story of a hero and heroine who were not alphas I highly recommend this book and I hope you write stories about their child/children Congratulations ...

The Nightmare

The Nightmare

POV Sammy I let what Cash's friend and Locke had told us sink in. If they were telling the truth, Kitty was in more danger than we thought. This trip was only going to take a couple of days. Luckily, the Vampires had a road system cleared the entire way down since they had been clearing roads since the start of the Nightmare. They used them to find humans that wanted to be turned. I realized that they were probably taking some humans to feed off of since we all needed blood but I didn't want to think about that part. I couldn't.

Really engaging story with an interesting take on the usual werewolf themes - hope you are able to update soon though as I’m dying to know what happens next! It’s been a while since the last one, hope everything is ok with you

Great book. Well paced, intriguing characters with very solid world building. My one qualm is that there are, at times, too many characters. Often there are a lot of names being thrown around and its hard to tell who's who.

Dirty Little Secret

Dirty Little Secret

Man so many unanswered questions, it kinda pisses me off. After a long fight, I lost the battle against sand man and drift off into a eventful slumber. Nightmare isn’t quite the word I would use, more like a horror. I jerk up almost falling to the floor as a cold sweat runs down my forehead and my whole body trembles in fear. With my heart racing at full speed and my breathing unsteady, I check the clock. It’s been like a hour give or take. That smug look on Lenkov’s face as he exits the kitchen haunts me, even in my sleep. “That Asshole.” I stand on my shaking legs as I make my way to the kitchen, to get a glass of water. My mind starts to wonder, was he the cause of the shooting, was he th

Succumbing into Darkness

Succumbing into Darkness

Tap. He suddenly heard a sound of something dripping. He realized that the liquid is dropping on his shoulder. He jolted in horror, the red liquid continued dripping on the floor. Chris immediately realized that the sticky liquid is blood. He didn’t dare looking up or he would surely lose his mind. He raced forward, running as fast as he can to exit the corridor but the passage feels endless; Opposite of his hope which is evaporating the more he spends his time in that spiteful place.

Quicksand

Quicksand

Even David and he had tried to fix what broke between them rather than just ignoring it like they usually did. Everything was fine and yet—he felt sick with nerves. It started this morning when he woke up in cold sweat. The remains of his nightmare still clinging to him like the way he held onto his blanket. It was an old one, an old nightmare that he rarely had anymore. It started with him at the bottom of the lake holding Manjusha's hand. He kept trying to pull them both out of the water. But he was a terrible swimmer even in his dreams and Manju's hand in his felt like it ton of bricks holding him down. Finally, frustrated and nearly out of air he let go of her determined to at least save

BILLIONAIRE'S NIGHTMARE

BILLIONAIRE'S NIGHTMARE

The bed I'm lying on is squeaky while the blanket and covers are smelling like rotten eggs. Since I can't sit up, I just move uncomfortably on the bed wondering how I ended up here. However, I can't seem to remember anything and as my thoughts continue wandering, the old door creaks open and a ragged looking man enters. He's grinning like a maniac as he walks towards the bed and I wait for him, anticipating what he's about to do. All I pray for right now is that he doesn't hurt me! “How is our little miss billionaire?” he asks and the odour coming from his mouth hits my nostrils hard, making me to look away. I can't speak because I have a tape on my lips and I just wish he takes it off. I'm

One Night, Wrong Man

One Night, Wrong Man

No matter how many times he repeated my name in the dark, I was standing in a room where the air was too expensive for my lungs, and every single glass panel in the Grand Horizon was silently screaming the same brutal truth into my face. You don't belong here. End of Chapter 39

His greatest nightmare. The ex wife's revenge

His greatest nightmare. The ex wife's revenge

Dave* I had been seated for a while, fingers tapping lightly against the table as I waited for the blind date my father had arranged. The pressure to marry sat heavy on my shoulders—as the only son, the responsibility rested squarely on my neck. I agreed to this nonsense not because I wanted to, but to calm my mother’s constant worry. My attention drifted when a woman nearby raised her voice, confronting her man about cheating. “Man, one of the reasons I hate marriage, dawg,” I muttered to my P.A—who was more brother than employee. “Just look at that.”

A Man's Snack is His Downfall

A Man's Snack is His Downfall

Well, if he missed indigestion and diarrhea that much, what could a wife do except oblige? That afternoon, two men in the uniform of a large chain supermarket arrived to unload cups of super-spicy mac 'n' cheese in the front hall of the Grimm Co. building. The poor receptionist kept protesting, her voice rising with panic, "I think there's been a mistake! We didn't order any of this!" I stepped into the hall from behind the truck. When she saw me, she straightened at once and greeted me with forced politeness, "M-Mrs. Grimm! Good afternoon!"
