His Earthly Desire

His Earthly Desire

The door opens. Closes softly. Silence follows. She steps in slowly. Scanning. Alert. But still— Visible. Still exposed. I watch her for a moment longer than I should. Not because I need to. Because I want to see how she handles it. How she reads the room. How she moves when she knows she’s being watched. She pauses. Her gaze lifts slightly. Finds one of the cameras. Of course she does. A small shift in her expression. Not fear.

Sinful Escape

Sinful Escape

Someone is watching me. I glance over my shoulder, my breath catching. A woman sits in the far corner, her gaze fixed on me. Dark hair, piercing blue eyes, and a slow, knowing smile that sends a shiver down my spine. She doesn’t look away. Neither do I. And for the first time in years, I feel alive. ---

WHAT HE ERASED

WHAT HE ERASED

When she looked up, someone was watching her. Not intrusively not the way that needed to be acknowledged, the kind of watching that felt like a claim on your attention. Just present. Standing a few feet away at the edge of the courtyard, looking at her with an expression that was interested without being intrusive, the way some people looked at things they found genuinely curious. Young. Her age, roughly. Dark hair, unremarkable clothes, the particular ease of someone who moved through spaces without needing to announce themselves. She looked at him for a second.

She Said Yes to the Wrong Man

She Said Yes to the Wrong Man

Forty, maybe, dark hair, expensive earrings, the kind of careful smile that meant she was watching everything and showing nothing. "You're doing well," the woman said. "Thank you." "It's harder than it looks, the first one." She took a small sip of champagne. "You feel like everyone is looking at you." "They are looking." The woman smiled at that, a real one this time, brief and a little tired. "Yes. But they're looking at him." She nodded across the room toward Dante. "They're always looking at him. You just have to stay close enough to be in the frame."

The Final Goodbye

The Final Goodbye

But even in that applause, the feeling returned. Someone was watching her. Not someone admiring or applauding her, but discreetly watching. Her spine tensed. She scanned again — carefully, discreetly, but every face seemed ordinary. Every glance seemed casual. Then the worst thought hit her: What if he isn’t watching from far? What if he’s close? Too close? She swallowed hard and forced herself to look at the stage, pretending to pay attention. She didn’t want to cause a scene. She didn’t want paranoia to make her look unstable.

My Hockey Alpha

My Hockey Alpha

She looked back at me with those green eyes, her expression changing to something more serious. “Wait,” she said, her tone now cautious. “There’s actually something else you should know.” I crossed my arms, my anger still simmering just beneath the surface. “Why aren’t you flying off yet?” I demanded. The woman looked around nervously before leaning in closer, as if sharing a secret. “You’re being watched,” she whispered. I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, I know.” “No,” she said. “Not just by me, but by someone else.”

the story is great don't get me wrong. this book is two parts as we speak, the first is when Nina and Enzo met and they get their happily ever after. the Book two is their life after marriage. let me just say "The story plot is getting redundant". the conflict presented is just repeating...

This started out promising and quickly turned into a waste of time. The FMC is a dumb, cringey, genetic, basic b!tch. Posts won't be shown without a 5 star rating, but this is definitely a 1 star. 2 if feeling generous.

Claimed By Three: The Stalker, The Don and The Killer

She walks closer, staring at the screens in awe. “Why not?” I smirk, moving to switch them on, watching her as each screen flickers to life. “The more monitors, the more I can watch.” She turns to look at me, and there’s a hint of understanding in her gaze. “Watching others live while you don’t?” Her voice is calm, but it hits like a punch. She’s not dumb; she’s sharp, seeing right through it all.

On Thin Ice With You

On Thin Ice With You

His eyes find her through all of it—through twenty thousand people and the noise and the distance—with the specific accuracy of someone who always knows where she is. He mouths one word. See? Lucas and Tyler are already pointing their sticks at her like telescopes. She looks down at her kit. She had dreamed about him the night after the treatment room—she is not going to examine the specifics, she has a medical understanding of what the body wants and she's choosing not to engage with that analysis right now. She'd woken up flushed and stayed that way for longer than she wanted to admit, and the man responsible is currently being celebrated by twenty thousand people and still somehow primari

The Nerd and the Hockey King

Then She did something no one expected. She smiled. “You tell me,” she said. Then she turned. Not to Ethan. Not to Lucas. But to the crowd. “All of you,” she said loudly. Voices hushed. Phones lifted. Recording. Watching. “You’ve been watching this like it’s entertainment,” she continued. Her voice carried. Clear. Unshaken. “But you’re part of it too.” Confusion spread. Murmurs. “You think this is just a drama?” she said.

My Ex's Brother Is the Hockey Alpha

My Ex's Brother Is the Hockey Alpha

Cody's POV Tears blur my vision. I can’t move. I can’t speak. I can’t even summon the will to step closer. Then a shift ripples through the crowd…subtle, almost silent, but enough to pull at my instincts. I glance briefly to the side…and that’s when I see her. Natasha. She isn’t reacting like the others. No panic. No confusion. Just standing there, arms loosely folded, watching everything unfold like it’s a performance meant for her alone.
