THE TRUE EVIL. Eva. Entering the innermost chamber of the lair, Eva noticed the chill intensify. The overwhelming darkness appeared to throb with a creepy vitality, and the walls shimmered with a nauseating gleam. The Shadowborn had guided them to this ultimate encounter, but now it was her and Xander's responsibility to confront the origin of the darkness. The dark entity in front of them, representing true evil, appeared bigger than any challenge they had encountered previously. Its gaze was ablaze with a supernatural flame, and it emanated a swirling force of evil energy.

As Callista nears the devil, whose shadows are closing in on her to consume her, a flash of blinding white light erupts from her, filling the room with a glow akin to the sun. I shield my eyes from the burn, and Xaveraq cries out as if he's in pain. When I reopen my eyes again, I see Xaveraq fall to the floor with Callista’s jaws wrapped around his neck. The glow still surrounds her, spiraling her like a galaxy as the devil continues to scream. I watch, dumbfounded as the darkness within him bursts into a frenzy of shadows that spiral the room in a cyclone of black, consuming them both for a split second, black and white flashes dancing in hope of dominating one another.

Evans—" A piercing, strange wail sliced through the darkness. Evans tensed. I had already dismounted and was looking over the shadowed tree line with my sword drawn. "We're not by ourselves," I whispered. After a moment, the shadows moved. It wasn't a wolf. Not totally. With incandescent runes cut into its flesh, it slithered between the trees, a towering figure of shifting limbs and dark mist. My blood became icy. Evans hardly raised her voice above a whisper. "A Stalker of Shade."

She shook her eyes after scanning his eyes for a while. He let out an inward sigh of relief. He knew that if there was anything Gemma found iconic about him, it would be his eyes. They were evenly emerald and in her words, unique in a way that drew one in like vortices. He had always had contacts on every time they met since he took on the identity of Livian White. Yet at that moment when she scanned him, it felt as though she was able to see through the disguise. She calmed herself and took a deep breath. "I did see a ghost. Well, not a ghost exactly. More like a demon from my past."

Then, the harsh basement lights flickered to life. The sudden brightness stabbed into his one eye, as the other one had a rod drawn deep and the man on the floor squeezed in fear. His entire face twisted in pain, as if even the light itself was another form of torture. The footsteps stopped. The man forced his one eyelids apart, just a little A thin sliver of vision. All he could see was the silhouette of the figure approaching… And then cold shadow that fell over his broken body like a final warning. “W-at-e-r…” The word scraped out of his throat like broken glass, just a dying sound struggling to exist.

THUMP. THUMP. Agatha’s footsteps echoed towards her. “Shit! Shit! SHIT!” Elva had not seen such dangerous power before. For a while now she feared no one but herself. Now she’s truly scared. Scare of dying. Meeting all those who she killed. Meeting the one person she doesn’t want to meet, the God of Death. She had borrowed too much time and now it’s time to give it all back. Some translucent ghosts was seen. They were fading in and out at the edge of the cage.

Slowly, Abigail got up from her seat and walked towards the back corner booth, it was the only one with a window that looked out into the alley, she wanted to see what was going on. Abigail could not hear anything that was said, but she could tell the conversation was anything but calm. Suddenly she saw it, Mr.Goldbergs eyes flashed yellow, and Daniel’s flashed the color of midnight. She could believe what she had just seen. Abigail was completely engrossed as she watched pitch black wings extrude from Daniels back, he was the epitome of Death in its purest form.

"Victor's planning to summon an ancient evil, one that will grant him unimaginable power. But it will also destroy everything in its path." Damien's eyes narrowed. "What ancient evil?" Elizabeth hesitated before answering. "A being known only as 'The Devourer'. It's said to consume entire worlds, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake." Ana's eyes widened in horror. "We can't let that happen," she whispered. Damien nodded, his jaw clenched. "We need to stop Victor, no matter what it takes." Elizabeth nodded, determination etched on her face. "I'm with you. Together, we can stop him."

And with this gesture of mine, his hatred reached new heights. “Boss, you have an important call. It’s good to answer it,” I heard Eddy’s voice from behind me. Carla and Ella accompanied him, whom I had frankly forgotten about. Ella was a beautiful young woman, but far too young to enter our world, a dangerous world where there were no scruples. A world in which you always felt threatened, and in which a thin thread of string always held your life, ready to snap at any moment. I don’t think he understood much of what was going on at the time, and that made me thrilled.

“I’m just glad we haven’t been giving the new ones any wolfsbane. Who knows? Maybe they’ll learn to control it on their own.” Gray nods and offers Bo a wide grin. “Maybe. They’ll be a hell of a lot better than us if they do.” We all know the truth though. Lycanthropy is a curse. There is no way to control it. Not on the full moon. “Come,” Bo says, knocking me out of the dooming thought of our near future. He puts a hand on my back, lightly guiding me to start walking. “Alazaer is down by twin hills, waiting for the others to come back,” he tells us.
