Edmund opened his diary, a padded red-cover book with his name written on it and wrote; "Dear diary, I have no idea what this feeling is but I do hope it's not love. It feels stupid to be so vulnerable because of a single human. It feels horrible to start being affectionate towards a mere mortal. Whenever I see someone so much as look at her, whether man or woman, I want to kill them. It's crazy what she does to me! If this is love, then, I just want somebody to shoot me in the head and end it all."

It looked like a primary student being punished for making a spelling mistake after being discovered by the teacher. Hilda looked further down the notebook attentively. The person who wrote the diary had limited education. There were many misspelled words, and the grammar was all over the place. There were only a couple lines of diary entries everyday. 4th January 2022 I am writing furiously on my diary and im sorry to it because I feel like I'm going to explode. the guilt of taking a father away from a baby and trying to justifying saving my brother's happiness and life with it. "What are you doing? We have the night train to catch and you've been writing on that diary since yesterday" Olson walked into my room "Nothing.. The last paragraph where her writing stopped inscribed “I'm scared – butterflies become afraid right – just one snap and they are dead.” I was lucky to see her coming straight to my direction, I quickly left the diary on its previous spot then reclined
