Three days have passed since the ‘exorcism’ and Matthew McPherson is finally free from that dank basement, back in the creaky little house on Hapeville’s edge. His mother is now convinced that he’s been ‘healed,’ and so she let him come back up.

He'd never touched geomancy, metaphysics—hell, even medicine and martial arts had once been foreign to him. This was his first exorcism. It would've been impossible not to feel fear. But he forced himself to remain steady. Closing his eyes, he quietly channeled the Ninefold Arcane Arts and formed several hand seals in rapid succession. Then he pointed and commanded, "Perish!" A talisman ignited in an instant. The writhing black mass screamed as it was engulfed in flames, burning violently until nothing remained but ash. Silence fell. The villa sank into utter stillness. On the bed, Ivana's body jolted, and then a wave of indescribable lightness washed through her.

My hands were shaking, my heart pounding, and for the first time since this nightmare started, I felt the full impact of what we were up against. We weren’t just fighting terrorists. Lucy's spirit has been bewitched" he muttered and quickly divided his spirit from his body He grabbed Lucy's hands and that moment, time stopped with only Lucy's spirit and his that was conscious "What do you think you are doing?" He asked and touch her forehead with his palm. He was performing some kind of exorcism on her and immediately she regained her senses "Who are you?" Lucy asked

Randall and Tristan sighed and did the same with this one, turning to the remaining Angels left to end them quickly too so they could join Zadicus and Kriss. “Better hurry, if Zadicus and Kriss wasted all their energy here how will they defeat Katastrofi?” Persephone asked, joining everyone else. “Agreed. Let’s go-” Before they were going to fight those Angels and help Zadicus and Kriss, another spell was cast. “Holy Exorcism.” Their face glowed when they turned and saw Sir Zuka back with Hizerl Army again, using the sacred spell to purge all evil souls, killing those angels instantly.

He cleared his throat. “Officially, yes. There is a ritual in the Catholic Church for exorcism. Have I ever seen it in practice? No. Have I ever practiced it myself? No. It is a very rare thing. As much as it may have been dramatized in the movies,” he said with a smile, “it is something you really never hear about.” He paused. “Why do you ask?” Caitlin collected her thoughts. She wanted to say the right thing, and didn’t want to seem crazy.
