___________________________________________________________________________ Rosemary’s POV My eyes irritatedly flutters opens – which was a big mistake indeed. Instantly I shut them as bright sun rays pierce my line of vision. Once again , I try to open my eyes ever so slowly – allowing a bit of sunlight in at a time. When my eyes have become used to the suns light , I take in my surroundings. A wave of comfort washes over me as I see the familiar décor of my suite. I exhale a breath that I had been holding , and I feel my muscles unclench and relax. I find myself cuddling deeper into the soft mattress beneath me and folding the duvet tighter closer to me. Yes but I didn't see anything. "And what about now?" He immediately closed his eyes. That was the moment Mr. Evidence realized that Rose was in the pink new bra he bought for her and with a towel wrapped around her waist, almost falling to the ground. "Will you deny it now that you haven't seen anything?" "My eyes are still closed." He said. "But you saw something." "The bra looks nice on you but trust me, that was the only thing I saw." "Better. She could tell the sun was high and bright in the sky because the room was illuminated in a soft glow, lighting up the room, sunlight covered the end of the bed as if reaching for them. If Rose stared for too long she felt as if her eyes burned for some reason. She wasn't thinking much, it was a rare moment where her mind was blank, and she went on instinct. It wasn’t too bright but the curtains were drawn, almost like the sun was just setting and the moon was getting ready to rise. Kevin demanded and slowly guided her to the front table, holding her shoulders. "Close your eyes, kitten, I've something very special for you," he whispered softly in her ear. Rose was hesitant at first but complied as he demanded. Her heart raced with his warm breath against her neck. He placed a small, rectangular velvet box in her hand, guiding her fingers to grip it securely. "Open your eyes," He urged, making Rose open her eyes slowly, anticipating a necklace or any piece of jewellery as usual, but as she flicked the cover, what she saw was totally incomprehensible to her.

"I’m a healer in training. I’ll stay right here with you. Rivka is helping, too. We’re working on these bruises so you can heal fast, okay?" I let out a long yawn, my throat tight. "Sure..." I mumbled. I couldn't tell if it was noon or midnight in this windowless room. The only thing bright was a vase of roses on the nightstand. They were incredible—petals swirled with every color of the rainbow, looking like wet paint. "They’re beautiful," I whispered. Rue smiled. "Rainbow roses from our garden. Want to hear the card?" She didn't wait for an answer. She plucked the note and read it with a little laugh.

Why was she so different? I didn’t like it! “It’s me,” I replied, getting out of the bathroom and going to search for a semi-dry pair of boxers. “Go back to sleep!” Rose was sitting up on the bed, watching me with those big, hauntingly beautiful eyes. So dark they looked obsidian in the spare light. So inviting... I didn’t even realize I’d been staring at her until her eyes met mine. She was trying to cover herself with the sheet, her small body easily lost in all the fabric. She looked like a small nymph, covered in white, mystery, and moonlight...

I clenched my jaw, I felt the need to see her. "See you at tracks tomorrow," I said and he nodded. I look at the time, it was only seven, I didn't want to seem invasive. But I was just making sure if she needed anything. I knock on the door and waited. If a took a while to get any sound reaction. So I knocked again. I frown. "Rose?" I called and immediately the door swung open. Her eyes coming in sight of mine. Her startled face was so obvious. "Did I scare you?" She shook her head opening the door all the way and holding onto it.

He held it up to the light, the delicate pen pressed between his fingers - light yet exquisite. "I like it", he turned, staring at the bouquet of blue roses, his gaze complicated. Dylan scratched his head, an awkward laugh escaping his lips. "That... the flower shop i contacted had ran out of chamomiles and only had those". Matthew inhaled, nodding slowly with a low hum. "Thanks" "It was nothing actually, just something that i had to do...out of courtesy", Dylan smiled, waving his hands lightly. They stared at each other silently for a while, neither having a word to say. After a moment, Dylan cleared his throat, his hands running through his thick, strands of hair.
