I said to Lucien. He nodded and after that I took Marcel out of my mind. My reckless brother was the least of my problems. We went into the conference room where they were seated. As soon as I came in, they stood up from their chairs and extended their hands for a shake. I only took the shake of the owner, a pretty young man which was surprising. "Good evening My king, I'm Ezekiel Elliott, a pleasure to meet you” he introduced himself. I nodded, walking to my side of the table. I didn't need to introduce myself, I was sure they already knew. "All right Mr Ezekiel, I've gone through everything” I began.

We walked inside and we both got seated in different chair’s in the salon. “So what do you want to do with your hair?” the hairdresser asked us. I actually had no idea “I want my shave the side of my head and paint the rest turquoise and she” Zoey said as she pointed to me “needs to look professional enough for a job as a secretary.” My hairdresser was kind and showed me several pictures to pick from and I eventually I decided on a choppy pixie cut with bangs. The hairdresser even put in some high and low lights for me and the end result was really cute. Zoey looked really cool too, but I wasn’t going to say anything to Zoey about it. Zoey then took me to lunch where she finally spoke to me

"I could never be this good with my hair, Thanks for this Jae" she uttered with a cheeky smile as he tapped her shoulder in response and nodded. "Let's go already" he said as Elizabeth threw the keys at him which he caught effortlessly.

Ezekiel's masculine chest and toned biceps sparkled in the morning sun, droplets of water catching the light as they dripped down his skin. His wet hair was slicked back, giving him a rugged, effortless look. He smirked confidently, the definition of his muscles standing out even more as he moved, looking every bit like the strong, protective dad that he was.

"Funny. But I don't think I will let anyone touch what's mine." I looked at him. As usual, his hair was a complete mess but it suited him. He's wearing the usual plain black shirt, fit enough to show his toned arm muscles. I could see the shiny piercing on his face and his natural manly scent invaded my nose. I guess he really stopped using that perfume he used to have. “I said I am willing to have her after you. When you’re done, you can toss her to me. Dude, like those old days," Ezekiel said.

When I caught up to him, breathless from both the run and the wind, I spoke calmly, "It’s not her." Ezekiel, still scanning the crowd, shook his head, "No, I swear, I saw her. The same hair... and the way she walked." I sighed deeply, placing a hand on his arm, trying to ground him. "Listen to me, it wasn’t her. I have red hair too, and so do a lot of other people here. You’re just imagining things." He hesitated, eyes still darting over the faces and figures nearby, the wild wind whipping through his hair.

“It’s okay. Let’s put your Ellie’s skills to the test.” Ellie clapped her hands in excitement and led me into her cozy little salon. She didn't cut my hair short, much to my relief, but she gave me a professional cut that transformed my wild curls into soft, layered waves. I had never even known that you could see such layers on curly hair.

I saw a tall figure with broad shoulders, wearing a white button-up, black dress pants, and black shoes. I knew that back too well. I could distinguish that man anywhere in a crowded room, even in the dark—Elijah Sterling, my brother Xander, and Xavier's best friend. Asher mumbled, his eyes raking over the lack of loose locks on top of Ezekiel's head. "Papa made me get a haircut so I could have ice cream," Ezekiel grumbled. Cailen couldn't help but smile because he remembered Ezekiel grumbling about having to get a haircut but that he would because he really wanted the ice cream. "I like it, very handsome," Asher smiled sleepily. "Papa let me come see you," Ezekiel explained and if Asher noticed the 'Papa' part, he didn't show it. "Yeah, he told me he was going to bring you," Asher smiled even more, leaning his head back against his pillow but keeping his eyes on Ezekiel.

It'll bring back lots of good childhood memories. "Please tell me you're not here talking to yourself..." Ezekiel begins, entering the room, his head bowed as he towel-dries his hair. "Because I'd hate to tell Mom you're losing..." His words trail off as he looks up and our eyes meet. I've had my fill of his body as I walk here. Only with him, I'm not noticing his tattoos, but his abs, his movements. My God, even this man's steps turn me on. And getting turned on is the last thing I need right now.
