Under the Mistletoe with my Ex's Brother

Under the Mistletoe with my Ex's Brother

Physics dictated it would collapse. "You need a wider foundation," I said, pointing to the bottom blocks. "See how narrow this is? It can't support the weight above." Jace's face scrunched up in confusion. "What's a foun-day-shun?" "Foundation. The base. The part everything else stands on." I rearranged some blocks, widening the bottom layer. "Try now." He added another block. Then another. The tower stood. "It works!" His face lit up with delight, and something in my chest tightened. "You're so smart, Mr. Damian!"

Married The Wrong Groom: Claimed By The Ruthless Don

Married The Wrong Groom: Claimed By The Ruthless Don

Evan stuttered, his voice barely audible. "The base," Maxton confirmed, with a grim expression. "It’s an underground facility carved into the heart of the mountains. No sunlight or luxuries that you are used to. Just a year of being broken down and 'rebuilt' into a soldier. Or, as is more common with boys like you, just being broken."

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

“Yes sir!” the men replied. Once more, Zephyr laid his eyes on the books, his gaze rested on one of them. The book was covered in a layer of dust and was made of bamboo. It looked unique. “Thunderfoot?” Zephyr muttered as he opened the book, reading its contents. A wave of excitement washed over him. He excitedly flipped through the pages, carefully memorizing the technique’s intricate steps.

SINFUL INDULGENCE BOOK 2

SINFUL INDULGENCE BOOK 2

she said, smiling happily at the thought of their first grandchild. “Hopefully, ma. By the way, I’m here to get my books.” “The ones by Jakara Blue? Yes, it’s on the bookshelf in your room.” Later in my room, I indeed saw about ten books by Jakara Blue that were arranged neatly on a shelf. I picked one of them and traced the embossed author’s name with my finger. This explained why I used the name Jakara Blue as my new name in Japan. It must be because I was an avid reader of Jakara Blue’s books. Remembering about my purpose in coming here, I started opening the folders that were arranged on another corner of the shelf. I had the habit of placing important documents in a folder.

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

It was simple science really, the virus changed our DNA and with it eradicated all that was good about the human race, love compassion kindness empathy, all it left behind were our base instincts, the need to feed and the need to spread the infection but it didn't always eradicate the ability to think in those it infected, there were some smart ass bad guys out there with no base emotions to hold them back. As for the re-animation of the dead, well that was a little harder to explain but essentially it turned the dead into zombies, the infected who died would rise again although there was nothing scientific to indicate they were actually alive except that they could walk and talk, somewhat.

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

"Because I will never let you leave me, Ivy. Not even if I have to break your mind to keep your heart." He leaned in, his lips grazing my ear. "Now," he murmured. "Are you going to be the Partner... or do I have to start the 'Sync' again?" Behind him, on the monitor, a new file began to auto-play. It was a schematic of the "Basalt Threshold." But it wasn't a lab. It was a factory. And there were dozens of basalt slabs, all of them sealed. All of them are marked with the same name.

Single Life Survival Level Up: Anti-Skinny Revenge

Single Life Survival Level Up: Anti-Skinny Revenge

Bima’s eyes widened as a wild idea took root. "This is it!" Bima exclaimed, his voice hushed. His thumb stopped on a page decorated with an image of Indomie paired with a Wi-Fi icon and a balanced nutrition chart. "Green Signal Indomie Recipe: Anti-Stalker Special!" Bima read the title rapidly. "What is that, Bima?" Riska asked, her eyes fixed on the book. "It’s a secret recipe for the Stalker Zombies!" Bima declared. "It can turn them into agents of balanced nutrition!"

Then again, who wouldn't after decades of being trapped there? Gabriel continued the tour. The base had many buildings that looked like factories, and Gabriel took them there; the place was almost entirely automated. Gabriel revealed everything to them, even information they didn't ask for. "This thing is truly amazing." Liana praised. "Without it, none of this would be possible." "You're right. That's why we call them creation ore; they are our most valuable item." "This is probably Walter Roberts' biggest contribution to the world." Sam said objectively.

This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........
Elvyne Carantes
I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.

Claimed by the Horde

Claimed by the Horde

The factory Patrick had found was not what Serenity was expecting. Lined with lead and looking run down from the outside. The inside was vastly different. Separated into three stories, the base floor held a training area, a small garage, and a weapons room. The middle floor had a kitchen, bathroom and living area and the top floor had three bedrooms and a small nook, which held a multitude of bookshelves. “Noah said you like to read.” Serenity looked to Patrick, as his hand ghosted over spines of the books and she nodded. “I like to know what I’m up against. What is in store for me.”
