"Scan it." "We did, Madame. It is clean. It is... food." Food? "Bring it up." A minute later, the guard walked in carrying a white paper bag. It smelled of sugar and warm dough. He set it on the table. Aurora opened it. Inside were two pain au chocolat. Perfectly flaky. Still warm. From Balthazar, the best French bakery in the city. And a note. For the tiger. And the tiger's mother. - L.

“Right! The catering! Hold on!” He abruptly braked and veered toward the right street, sending Pelin and me lurching forward. We pulled up in front of Petite Patisserie, a bakery that looked like it had been plucked from a fairytale. Artificial flowers and candy decorations in shades of purple and pink covered the exterior. Everyone called the owner Lady Muffin, and she was already waiting near the door. Uncle Eren disappeared inside while we watched the assistants load the trunk. The smell of butter-dough and chocolate began to waft into the car. We had ordered baked salmon with rice, fresh pomegranate juice, and chocolate-filled croissants.

He wore a track jacket, with his hair still damp and a white pastry box tied with a pale pink ribbon in his hands. He looked up when Lucien came through the gate and his whole face did something Lucien wasn’t prepared for, that wide, unguarded grin, full of expression, like Lucien walking through that gate at seven fifty-two was the best thing that had happened to him all week. Beside Lucien, Cassian made a sound that was not quite a laugh. “Good morning,” Eli said, as if this were normal. He held out the box. “Strawberry mille-feuille, It takes longer than a tart so I started at four, but I think it came out right.” he said.

Tessa’s POV I sit quietly at a counter seat near the front of the 24-hour cafe, sipping the disgusting coffee and barely edible omelette while I scroll through the burner phone to catch up on the news. I watch out of the corners of my eyes as people queue up in a line to enter the store across the street. They all seem very excited and happy to be there. The window of the store has the silhouette of a wolf wearing a pointy witch's hat. Above the image, in curly purple and white lettering, are the words ‘Pâtisseries de’ and below it are ‘Loup Magique’ meaning ‘Magic Wolf Pastries’. I roll my eyes at blatant call out to the owners of the little bakery. The lights in the front of the store turn

Cupcakes, red velvet, chocolate cake, name it and she will eat it for you. "Todd, Can you please turn around and stop at Eclair bakery?" I called. Todd turned his head around and nodded. "Of course, Miss Malik." "Mommy are w'going to get cake?" Amari asked excitedly. I nodded my head and she immediately hugged me tightly. "Thank you mommy!" she squealed. I giggled and kissed her cheeks. "Everything for you princess, everything." The car stopped at Eclair bakery and Amari and I stepped out. We stepped in the shop and Amari immediately pointed at her favorites. "I want that mommy and that one!" She pointed at the Cheesecake eclair and Macarons.

“Judging by how you’re smiling at that box like it just proposed, I’d say otherwise.” I glared at him. “I’m just… excited to taste it, that’s all.” “Mhm.” He didn’t sound convinced. I ignored him and picked up one of the éclairs, its surface smooth as glass. The glaze shimmered faintly in the light, and when I cut through it, the soft, creamy filling oozed out like liquid gold. My pulse actually quickened. I brought it to my lips and took a bite.

According to the NPC, adventurers who started favouring his restaurant after the downfall of Baron Claude donated the monster loot in exchange for meal discounts. As the fairy trap continued to work efficiently, Zen found himself growing bored. His role was to hide in the bushes, ready to assist Damian if the machine malfunctioned. Zen had added holy water to the fairy cakes as a secret ingredient, a precaution he hadn't shared with Damian. Even if the dispel talisman failed, the fairies would still be freed from the miasma’s influence.

She chuckles and rubs my arms, “Don’t ever change.” As soon as she’s gone, I dive back into the eclairs and help myself to some delicious-looking Daifuku. I have my mouth full to the point of looking like a chipmunk hoarding nuts when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I quickly swallow my food and turn only to be greeted by two very elegant individuals radiating strong energy, enough to tell me they hold some kind of authority.

"Mad? Yes I was mad at you at first but now i'm very glad, you know when Rodolfo told me about a new fairy to be reborn years ago I doubted it and didn't believe him, who new she would land right into my kingdom? You've just solved half of the problems glitz land has! With the help of a fairy the twin heavenly twin swords can be re discourvered and the immortal realm can be re opened!" The kings said in excitement. "And why are you so quick to conclude that she is indeed a fairy?" Gagé asked his father with uneasyness. "It is clearly written in the book of records, Inly a fairy has the ability to have purple coloured hair, and other magical powers, so i'm sure we are not wrong now are we?"

Laura says. I sit on the side of the bed in shock. I have no idea how to react. "Are you okay, Luther?" Laura asks me. "Yes, I am happy. I am in shock. I love you, Laura," I say to her. "It is a little different with fairies and even more complicated since this baby is a hybrid. I am pregnant. Fairies can tell at conception. I just did not know what to look for, it was not exactly something I was worried about with everything going on, but I am guessing the night of your ceremony is when we become pregnant," Laura says.
