"There wasn't much else to read in Duskfen." She watched me over the rim of her cup. "Pack histories covering Ashfen greeting protocol. In a small eastern lowlands settlement." "The elder had quite a collection," I said. She set her cup down. The smile was still in place. The entire picture was still in place: the warm, attentive gaze, the precision, the carefully chosen vulnerability she presented. Underneath it, something was whirring that had absolutely nothing to do with any of this. "Tell me about the night Goldencrest fell," she said. "You were processing through the eastern quarter, weren't you?"

Fallen Heroine

Fallen Heroine

I rolled of it the moment I needed them off my trail. Skilled, aren't I? I saw their shell-shocked faces with their jaws dropped to the floor and one of them took their phone and made a call. Most likely to be Martinez. Imagine how they would break the news 'oh yeah you know the girl you told us to trail, well she ran her car of a cliff so she's probably dead.' At least he would think so. Anyways, after one of them made the phone call they began returning to their cars. Now was the perfect time to strike. I pounced one of them from behind. Strangling him while the other two were talking to each other.

Falling, Fallen.

Falling, Fallen.

It's like somebody suddenly injected suspicion into his body. "I don't have Jeremy's contact. I asked Sasha to help me ask him." Roy visibly slumped down after hearing Monroe and added. "Oh." The footsteps nearing them caused them to look at that direction—to find Ken holding a bunch of fat books in his arms and heaving his way to them. Roy felt a bit of sympathy for Ken, helped out by carrying half of it for the rest of the way to their reserved table. Throwing the books on the table, Ken noisily dropped on his chair beside Monroe and flicked his index finger to the water bottle on Monroe's bag. Roy too kept the books and sat down, fishing out his notes from under the books.

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

“The two cities, Casterfall and Hailborne, were both the underlying source of the region’s…” “Seriously, do I really have to do this every day?” Tristan whispered to himself, letting out a huge breath. Thick, ancient-looking books were piled at his both sides on the table. One book was opened, resting between his elbows but the writings were too frustrating for him. They were so tiny and full of complicated words which he had never known of before. “Okay, that’s it,” Tristan finally spoke up as he closed the big book which was all about the geographical history of Northrend region.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Alpha's Fallen Royal

Alpha's Fallen Royal

They don't need anyone other than themselves when fighting, like- you can challenge them when they're alone and there's nothing wrong with it. However, it shouldn't be done this time around as it will be seen as a sudden attack. There's also records about how they lived before but what caught my attention is that one empire lost to Alpha Alejandro's ancestors. They fell into ruin because of betrayal… How pitiful… I continued reading the entire book and didn't notice that it's almost sunset, I wouldn't notice if only a female servant didn't knock on the door and brought my food. "Thank you…" I'm hesitant to thank her because she's one of those servants who just watched while Giselle is bullyi

THE FALLEN ANGEL AND THE VAMPIRE

Besides, I can handle Alex myself. "You won't ever run away from me" I sighed. "Ok...sure" she nodded as she talks in low voice. I placed my hands underneath my bed and brought her books out. "These are Jenny Alfred's and so it's yours...you are going to close your eyes after you've relaxed on something, then..place your hands on the words you've written" I tried to explain but she wouldn't allow me to finish before she grabbed it quickly from me. She was still sitting when she did it and she flung the book away after she had fallen on my bed.

Claimed by the Ruthless Alpha

Claimed by the Ruthless Alpha

Celeste’s throat burned raw as the sound finally died, leaving only the echo ringing in her ears and the heavy silence of the library pressing down on her. Her body trembled violently, silver energy still crackling faintly at her fingertips like dying embers. Books lay scattered across the floor where they had flown off the shelves. One lantern had shattered, glass shards glittering on the stone. She couldn’t breathe. Her chest heaved, lungs longing for air, but the vision clung to her. And then the shift to Ravencrest’s halls, Kaelan’s regretful eyes as the markings beneath the mountain pulsed with corrupt hunger.

THE FALLEN QUEEN OF TERRA

THE FALLEN QUEEN OF TERRA

Abigail said ignoring all the awestruck, confused, and condemning gazes at her. “You are the first person who isn’t afraid of me,” he said. “Well, you are not at all scary. I read about you in books, Mr. Azazel Silvercrest,” Abigail said. “Aren’t you afraid that I may snap your head or your husband and drink your blood?” he asked with an amused expression, hoping to see her flinch or slight fear on her face. But he was deeply disappointed at her reaction. Abigail laughed out loud at his words.

The Fallen Alpha

The Fallen Alpha

were able? The fallen alpha’s chest seemed to weigh down at the thought of seeing everything crumble again and that made him acted before thinking. With an impulse he grabbed her and with that minuscule and fragile body in his arms, he ran. He ran with his feet in the dark earth, with his hair in the wind in a humanoid form that had never been allowed to use. Kalias ran while hoping to get to that place in time, to the lake that was able to help her improve.
