FALLING FOR THE DEVIL

FALLING FOR THE DEVIL

Time to get back to work. "Sloane?" I turn. "The book I left on the bus. Did you read it?" "I'm halfway through." "And?" "It's exactly what I needed. How did you know?" "Because I read it three years ago when I was falling apart. And it helped." He shrugs. "Figured it might help you too." "It does. Thank you." "Small gestures." "Small gestures," I agree. I walk back to my equipment feeling lighter than I have in months.

Falling Through Lies

Falling Through Lies

My body dropped instantly, just like a kite that had lost its string. The wind screamed in my ears as I fell. Faintly, I could still hear the manic laughter coming from the twelfth floor. The overwhelming weightlessness wiped out every thought in my mind. Then, my body crashed into the ground with a violent impact. It felt like every bone in me shattered at once. Pain shot through me like sharp knives, spreading from my right leg throughout my entire body. I could feel the bone in my right leg break. The agony was so intense that I couldn’t stop myself from groaning. Sweat and tears poured out uncontrollably, soaking my clothes in seconds.

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

The stars vanished. One by one. Across the entire universe. Not exploding. Not collapsing. Simply disappearing. As though an unseen hand was plucking them from existence. The City of Lost Possibilities fell silent. Everyone looked upward. The night sky had once been filled with countless lights. Now entire sections were empty. Dark. Wrong. The absence felt unnatural. Nova watched another star disappear. Then another. Then ten more. A chill crawled through her body. Because she could feel it. Whatever was happening wasn't destruction.

The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

Not hatred. Only loneliness. "I've waited longer than stars have existed." "I've watched every version of you." "I watched you become a king." "A prisoner." "A Keeper." "An Author." "And every single time..." "...you forgot me." The words struck Adrian harder than any weapon. Forgot... Again. Always forgetting. The room began shaking. The walls dissolved into endless darkness. Outside... countless stars blinked out together. One after another. As though someone was erasing the night itself. The White Book suddenly appeared beside Adrian.

The Banished Luna's Awakening

The Banished Luna's Awakening

“I’ve been climbing this same ladder since the day I became the Alpha of Frost Fang. I’ve never fallen once. I’m not going to suddenly fall now just because you’re standing there watching me.” The words had barely left my mouth when the ladder gave a dangerous wobble beneath my feet. One of the lower rungs shifted with a loud creak. My balance faltered. “Lara—!” I gasped as gravity took over. My foot slipped completely. The book fell from my grasp as I tumbled backward, arms flailing. Strong arms caught me mid-fall. Matteo had rushed forward, but the force of my fall was too much. We crashed to the floor together in a tangled heap. I landed directly on top of him with a heavy thud, knocking

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

Falling, Not through space, But through memory, Liora plummeted, weightless and burning, as the god’s voice thundered around her. Time dissolved. Her flame dimmed. Her mind blurred, This wasn’t death, It was unmaking. She landed hard, But not on stone or soil, She fell into herself A cavernous realm lit by blood-colored stars, veins of fire curling through impossible skies, She stood in the Ash Crown’s heart. The god itself pulsed in the distance, immense, sprawling, unformed.

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Chapter 16 The Descent of Noir The sensation of falling was not the chaotic, terrifying plunge Laila had expected. Instead, it was a moment of crystalline clarity. The air, freezing and thin at this altitude, whipped against her skin, but the heat radiating from within her kept the cold at bay. She was a silver streak against the velvet black of the night, a fallen star with the heart of a predator. Below her, the canopy of the ancient forest rushed up like a dark, rolling sea, the pine needles looking like thousands of tiny daggers waiting to catch her.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Chapter 99 – The Shattered Constellation The field of stars stretched endlessly around them, shimmering faintly like a sea of fireflies frozen in time. Each star pulsed rhythmically, casting soft light across the group as they struggled to regain their footing after the fall. The air was thick with an otherworldly energy, making it hard to breathe—not from lack of oxygen, but from the sheer weight of what surrounded them. Jessica stared at the constellations above: one shaped like a wolf, the other like a witch. Between them burned the words **"Unity Is Strength,"** glowing brighter with each passing second. Her hybrid nature surged within her, responding instinctively to the celestial displ

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The stars did not fall with noise or fire. Instead, they drifted, soft as ash, slow as regret, blanketing the skies above Sanctum for three nights and three days. Each flake glimmered, ephemeral, settling on rooftops, the backs of silent wolves, and the palms of children who dared to reach for them. The city stilled beneath this celestial hush, the air trembling not with fear or awe, but with the sense that an ancient story had finally run out of pages.

The writing is clunky at times, but the story and the characters are mesmerizing. This was my first dragon romance, and it was incredible. So glad the sequel has already started because the ending is criminal. I want to see all my favorites find their happiness.
