I know that it is not only a demon, but an insurgent movement in my domain, trying to gain power. I opened the portal of eternal souls, and my thought invoked Pursom. Only I, the king of the underworld, have the power to resurrect eternally dead demons’ souls. At my feet, Pursom was thrown, wrapped in a slimy cocoon. This is how the demons, that are brought to life by the king, return to the underworld. Moloch, seeing this, dropped to the floor on his knees and touched the floor with his forehead. Among demons, there is no love, but I understand that they have always been a good team, and it is difficult to find an efficient replacement these days.

I said pacing back and forth in front of him running my hand over my head and scratching the back of my neck. "It's because you don't have a soul," he frankly said. We both have a quiet moment having a meaningful stare at each other. I almost forgot how the Demon King took my soul and held it captive to ensure that I will be his obedient lapdog and remain loyal to him for the rest of eternity. He collects all of our souls and kept them hidden so no one would dare to retaliate against him. Now that I am turning back into my human form, how can I get my soul back to complete my missing piece?

“YOU SUMMONED ME." I froze, my words dying in my throat as I slowly looked up. My eyes widened at the towering figure before me–skin red as coal and burning with fire that radiated heat even from afar. Seated atop a jagged obsidian throne that hadn't been there moments ago, was Thrakos. The Demon King leaned back, one leg slung over the armrest, grinning down at me with a slow, cruel smile.

Tabitha drew from the depths of her power and screamed a soul trapping screech. The sound ripped through the corridor, and it was raw, magical, and devastating. Demons staggered. Their forms began to become destabilized, then one by one they exploded into ash. But not all of them. Never all of them. The air shifted and it became heavy, wrong, and other worldly ancient. Then he appeared like smoke folding into shape. The Demon Shadow King. His red eyes burned into me. His smile was slow and cruel. “Well…” he murmured, voice scraping against reality itself, “the Queen.”

“I never wanted it.” Mora looked at him. “And if you lose your memory?” The Devil King paused. That was the one thing he feared. He looked toward Sophia. Then Lucien. Then Seraphina. “Then I’ll trust them to remind me.” The Final Ritual Mora opened her hand. A black circle appeared. Death stood on one side. The Devil King on the other. Sophia stood with Seraphina. His head fell back as he laughed, the noise coming deep from his belly as if he were genuinely entertained by what I had said. "That is where you are wrong, my little witch. I am not an evil man at all. Don't insult me by comparing me to the inferior males of your kind. I am a demon, a King, and I will get what I want. If I want you, then you will be mine."

It has three blue-grey gems – a big one at the center and small ones beside it. “I’ve asked permission for your parents and they agreed. Emily, I am willing to live the rest of my life with you and I will marry you once again after you graduate college.” He started. Words were caught up once again in her throat. Her heart beat excruciatingly hard against her chest, “What about Hell?” “Hell has its own king.” “Who?” “Alfred.” “Alfred, the mortal butler?” Her eyes widened, “That couldn’t be! He’s gone!”

His skin appeared paler than usual as he stared right into my soul. "W-What are...you?" I questioned, my lips trembling in fear. "Daemonuim rex" He hissed, his claws disappearing. I froze in my seat as those words echoed in my ears. I know what he meant. Demon King. My vision faltered as I tried to slur out the words I was thinking. Suddenly my head felt too heavy, Lukas standing in front of me getting blurry. I inhaled sharply, trying to keep my eyes open, waving my arms around but the fuzzy feeling took over and I let myself slip.

“How do you know about that bastard?” Shrugging with nonchalance, he answered his friend. “He came first to me before he came here. I did not know during that time that he would come here in the dungeon, but seeing the traces of crimson aura that even the demon king cannot master – there is only one prideful demon left, the Halfling.” He paused as he observed the disheveled look of his friend before he continued. “The look you have now. I guess my intel about Damon the Prideful is correct… I guess he could really surpass the demon king if he only put his mind into it. I wonder who will win if there is a battle between Maleficent the Glutton and Damon the Prideful.”
