The Demon

The Demon

Just a month, a short month—what could happen in that time? Yes, I could be poisoned or assassinated, but who would try and harm Carlie...right? Yet my aunt turned out to be more cunning that I had anticipated. The rat... The days passed slowly, and Carlie and I met every day—and night. And then, out of the blue, another highwayman turned up. I had a feeling that they bred those bastards in Riolon or Tevarr and then released them in our lands to rob and kill our people. His name was Black Jack. For some reason, those rabble always chose the most colorful monikers.

STOLEN BY THE DON

STOLEN BY THE DON

"She was his mistress for eighteen months, helped him launder money through various charity foundations. Then she got greedy, skimmed half a million from one of his accounts, and disappeared." "And Kozlov doesn't forgive theft," Luca said grimly. "No," Matteo agreed. "He's been looking for her ever since. That's why she's been so careful about maintaining her false identity, why she moves in circles where Kozlov doesn't typically operate. She's been hiding in plain sight among wealthy socialites who would never associate with arms dealers." Luca processed this new information, its implications spreading like poison through his understanding of the situation. "So when I kidnapped Sienna..."

The Streets meet The Mafia

The Streets meet The Mafia

They too had to put the word out on the street about the case or none of them would be spared by the Russian mafia boss. Oh, how they wished they had the culprit right there in front of them so that they could rough him up before giving him away to Yuri. “Who the hell could be stupid enough to steal from that man?” asked one of the small-time gang leaders to his people. “Whoever he is, he must be tired of living and what could have possessed this fool to steal from that man, anyway?” answered the subordinate also angered by the person.

I must say I loved this book. I didn’t think I would because it was a different mafia type storyline. However it was great, written well, characters were unique, and not long and dragging. Thanks author you are one of my favorites here. Keep up the great work and I will keep reading.

The CEO's Naughty Thief

The CEO's Naughty Thief

Moments passed and people passed by her, shook their heads pitifully then dropped dollar notes and coins in her outstretched hands with Red shaking her head and smiling inwardly. This new venture of mine is really good, She thought has the sound of notes and coins dropping sounded like music to her ears. When she got to the abandoned alley where she slept, she brought out the money and counted it excitedly. Red realised four hundred dollars and she almost leapt for joy. She was definitely going to continue with this one. She continued her falsely handicapped ventures and limited her pick pocketing but not stopping it completely. She just had a thing for petty theft, for taking things that di

The Story is Wow❤If we consider the basic plot is same. But the plot twist is remarkable. The way of representation is funny. For eg, 'Red singing/Picking the lock from her hairpin in front of the police officer.' Characterization is nice, coz you made it clear in starting what she is. Worth Reading

Very funny & unique story. I really enjoyed reading this novel & can honestly say I have never read anything like it. I do hope the author updates the book with proper grammar & spelling to make it a better piece of fiction. It definitely needs editing but should be published & read by more.

Jayden's Luck

Jayden's Luck

"I saw something else, early on. There were no old pickpockets. SwiftFinger was one, but he had three apprentices working with him, and he passed the loot to them a moment after he had taken it. If anyone got caught, it wouldn't be him." Carella was another, but she varied her technique, and supplemented her income by working as a whore. Adults caught thieving would be sentenced to the galleys. Far better to set children to work; they would only be branded, or mutilated. A second offence would mean hanging. - "I didn't want to be one of those." I said. "I knew early on that I was a bit smarter. And people responded to me; I had charm. So I switched to confidence tricks. Much safer."

That was so far from the truth. The truth was so much worse. I couldn’t tell her, I couldn’t tell her that I was a thief, a cheap, petty burglar that preyed on rich people’s empty homes. Seth was the person who brought it up first. He said he had a couple guys who made it big, robbing the houses up on the estate hill and they were looking to expand their business, he said I could get a cut of the profits if I just joined them in running their grifts.

The mafia's legend

The mafia's legend

I shrugged causing Ace, his father and my own to smile and shook their head at my comment. "Is there a reason why Ace and Alexia should go there alone?", My mother asked while walking to us. "I assume you know Melissa." Dad asked Vincenzo as he pointed to my mother. "Yeah." Vincenzo smiled at her which she returned. "Because they want li fantasma and The Mafia leader Italian mafia who is also the best assassin to come to their party." Vincenzo stated. "Oh please—", Daniella voiced interrupted us once again. "Li fantasma is a myth!" She yelled with her fake and really bad Italian accent.

CAKE's Evidence

CAKE's Evidence

HIBARA THAT INSIGNIA OF a ghost winking and with a laughing smile holding out a high-five was something I’d seen in my dearest father’s case files before. It seems that this internationally famous thief, Ghost Hand, was someone that the Greatest Consulting Detective of the Century can’t even capture. Of course, Mom has no access to the police files of the Theft-Robbery-Burglary Division since she’s in the CID. “Why are there a lot of kids here?” A voice that could make me roll my eyes sounded from behind.
