Even me. “Didn’t he tell you he was a hybrid?” he asked “He did, right before he left with Casler” I said “Use Castalia. That’s her name. He is a witch and a Wolf, just like Castalia. But She is stronger because she has a Lycan blood running through her veins” he continued “The Witch they told you who killed Lucas was him. But the story spread was, the witch was a woman, but the fact was, it was a man”

I crashed through the bedroom door, a snarl ripping from my throat that shook the windows in their frames. In the center of the room, standing over the bed where the triplets were huddled, were two figures. One was a warrior of the Iron Fang, his face painted with the red clay of a blood feud, a silver dagger held tight in his hand. Beside him stood a woman draped in tattered black silk, her eyes glowing with a sickly, iridescent light. The witch. "A white wolf," the witch whispered, her voice sounding like dry leaves skittering across a grave. "The legends did not mention she was a mother. Such a pity to end a bloodline so soon."

She demanded once again but Dare knew he didn’t need to reply to that, she already had her answers. ****** Once she had charged at the witches with her spell they sent it back with the Spear, it came crashing into her body and gave her what the humans would call a third-degree burn. The Witches weren’t left unharmed but she did not see just how badly hurt they were as they quickly disappeared from her presence, leaving her to bleed out and die on that burning forest floor. She summoned her last strength and created a portal and it led her to the roads, and while she stumbled out of the forests and onto the roads, she noticed the Fox, holding in his arms, a newborn, smiling grandly at the you

“Your blood… it’s different.” Her heart skipped. “What?” “It smells like a wolf. But also… something else.” He leaned closer, inhaling. “Like magic. Old magic.” She shoved him back. “Don’t.” He stood abruptly. “You’re not just a hybrid. You’re Lycan.” The word hung in the air like poison. Seline froze. Lycan, the ancient wolf-blooded witches, hunted to extinction centuries ago. Her mother’s warning echoed: “Never tell anyone what you are.”

The Wolves reside in a dense, ancient forest that lies on the outskirts of Greiner, far from the prying eyes of the Fairies. Here, they have lived in seclusion for the past years. They had numerous tents filled with male werewolves as the fairies were able to get rid of all female wolves and they can't mate with a fairy because the power of the fairy can't allow a wolf grow. And all fairies had power. However they've been surving hiding from the fairies in the woods but they refused to grow weak. Their Alpha, Conri was ruthless and dauntless, but he cared alot for his pack. He was just a little child when the fairies took his mother away and has strived to keep the pack together.

I asked again. " Years ago, I casted a spell on Alpha Lucifer, Derrick's father. I made him fall in love with me, he did so many weird things because of me, authorizing the movement of the witches into his pack. My witches did something cruel of course by casting a crazy spell on his wife. She ate from the dustbin, becoming rude to her kids... " She paused.

"If you can't come up, I can come down." Katrina stares at her. "What?" Katrina smiles, "I used to wonder the kind of wolf that would be the king's mate. Since he hadn't found his mate, we all figured she wasn't going to be from Eldrida. To be honest, there were rumours that he was cursed or destined to be without a mate. But then, I used to think, what would her personality be like? Would she be one of the werewolves that think witches are beneath them? Trust me, there are few of those. So I'm just glad that you happen to be a witch as well, that means we're safe. I didn't ever imagine that you'd be so cool though, you're the perfect mate for the king."

"Talking to the witch when you should be taking what she knows." Everything happened too fast. Draeven launched himself at the witch, his corrupted claws extended. She threw up a shield of shimmering light, but he tore through it like paper. I heard her scream as his claws raked across her side, saw blood spray black against the snow. "No!" I didn't know why I shouted it. Didn't know why my body moved before my mind caught up. I crashed into Draeven, sending us both sprawling. My warriors stood frozen, confused, caught between orders and instinct.

he mumbled, and Maven’s eyes widened as he mentioned the name. “What is going on?” I whispered to Aurelian. He looked at me. “That’s his mate who died,” he said, and my eyes widened. That’s his mate? “But she is a witch,” I mind link. “Zira was a witch too, but a witch and wolf hybrid,” he said. I have never heard of a wolf and witch hybrid before, but I guess they exist.
