Poison Magic: Fantasy Collection

Poison Magic: Fantasy Collection

"But it's not going to be easy on any of you." Anastasia places a piece of paper in front of us and we all gasp. My heart breaks. It's not much of a surprise, but still. For some reason, these people decided to create a posse of idiots thinking they can rule the world once all the magic is gone from the earth and turned it into poison. On it are the names of young students we all know. Including my sister.

The Chosen One

The Chosen One

A true fantasy is a fixed mistaken notion that gains traction, like a wheel of a wagon on the road, it propels a person in different paths, often unpredictable and toward catastrophe. He has become more like a wonderful wagon wheel, taking him to new extraordinary journeys of life, but unable to alter his path or fundamental beliefs. So what once required medications no longer does. The "fantasies of the great voyage" are no more than fiction with an extra kick. After all, he was stone-cold sane. In truth, he would wager he was safer from demise than anyone else. Beyond that, he was cursed to live a long life. A very long life.

Academy of The Damned: Bride Of The Abyss

“Wow.” “What?” “It's just,” I shook my head, “surreal. I have read and watched all of your existence, but they are very very certain to let us know that you guys are all fake and just fiction,” I wheezed. “Please, fiction,” she rolled her eyes. “Like humans could ever think of something so great. Seriously, most of the ideas come from higher demons that you know, either made a deal with a human and sold out or one that is probably in the industry.”

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

She turned back to see Marvis had set everything up and was tending to what was over the fire. "If you can send letters like that, I'm really curious as to who you really are," he said, handing her a plate of steaming soup. "I mean, you pull things out of thin air, you can easily teleport without a magic item and you can turn a dragon into a pendant. You are walking around with a fairy! Are you a god?"

RED HOT STORIES (A COLLECTION OF ST*AMY STORIES)

"I don't know how to even fucking read.” I bit down in my lip, my mind running with words I could give that'd convince him. "Well, it's not really just a book,” I said, lifting the book back up. "This is a magic spell book that grants all your fucking wishes. You don't even have to read from it. Just open and say whatever the fuck it is that you want, and it magically gives that to you.” Stan arched a brow. "And why haven't you used it to get you some food?”

The Alpha's Babysitter

The stories she had shared with Theo melded with the narratives of the dream realm, creating a kaleidoscope of tales that danced before her in a mesmerizing display. Matt took one step forward. "You're not losing your mind, Summer. Didn't you ever wonder if I was out there somewhere, real? If our dreams were shared and not just a figment of your imagination?" She shook her head. "No. It just - No." "It just what, sugar? Can't be? Why not? Is it any crazier than two people getting stuck in a Christmas ornament? Or a dating service that doesn't exist fixing up a perfect couple?" He took another step, hands out, reaching for her. "How about a girl turning into a rabbit until she makes up with her ex? You know all those are true. You're the one who told me about them. Magic happened for your siblings, so why not for us?"

BILLIONAIRE'S BRIDE

BILLIONAIRE'S BRIDE

And the small stick for…well, she hoped that didn’t mean what she feared. With a deep breath, she threw the list into the silver bucket and watched it burn. She felt like an idiot for creating a love spell, but she had no options left and little to lose. As the owner of an eclectic bookstore in a trendy upstate New York college town, she figured she was allowed some quirks.

MAGICAL

MAGICAL

I scoffed. "I need no band to create havoc in the human world." I laughed out loud. "And to think I'd just watch a small girl rule over us all....it's totally impossible." I scorned. "All I need to do is to command. I can just cast a spell right from when I am right now and things won't be good with them like they are right now." "What next?" My mole asked me. "I'll compel them to give up the band." "Do you think she'll surrender?" She asked.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

“I wasn’t lying about that.” Jesse shrugs, pretending to consider his cards, even though honestly he’s not really paying attention to the game. “All right, but even if you’re not lying, it’s clear that they don’t exist. I mean, you spend a lot of time alone, Midnight, I guess you just made them up.” “I did not,” she says, straightening her spine and looking at him aghast. “They exist!” “Imaginary friends are great,” Jesse says, lowering his cards a bit and looking at her with a bit of false pity. “You shouldn’t be ashamed, Mids.”

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!
