"Mr. Parell, I couldn't stop him…" Leo's frantic shouting snapped me back to reality. That was when I realized… I had been reborn. Bayndemar. A horrifying hell on earth. Terrifying memories crashed over me like a tidal wave. Every bone in my body ached as though it were being crushed all over again. I jerked my head up, my eyes bloodshot as I glared at Leo. "You…!"

Snaps her fingers. The wards around the lodge activate. Not protecting. Trapping. Golden light floods the space. But not my light. Corrupted. Purple. Wrong. And I realize too late. The trap wasn't for The Architect. It was for me.

It was time to get down to business because it was game time. “You will be thrown into the dreamscape as a human and in a world without our kind. She said that it will be designed to fit every desire you never knew you even had. It is meant to entice you into getting lost in the blissfulness of it all so that you will never want to leave,” he explained. It sounded like the perfect trap indeed. I would admit to its brilliance. “How could I possibly win then? I will be alone and without Phoenix. Without those who care about me.”

He shook his head, smiled bitterly, and said nothing. "The so-called Trap Gu is a superb secret skill that uses the talisman to attract the completion of operation. I will need to set up various traps in advance and lock the soul of the trap with the talisman. When I need a certain trap, I only need to burn the yellow talisman to get the ability of the trap. So, do you understand?" Samuel suddenly understood and nodded. In short, it was actually a kind of God trick. However, the God trick invited the gods, while the Trap Gu invited the Trap. Moreover, these traps could be made.

Not having his way is really taking a toll on him, and I’m somewhat disappointed that he hasn’t grown from this experience at all. My gaze shifts to Permiton, who is studying the path ahead, his eyes narrowed in concentration. The ground between us and Bright Waters is literally unclear. A faint shimmer hangs in the air, marking a series of magical traps designed to keep out anyone unworthy of the Waters. I used to read extensively about these traps, safe in my castle and secure in the knowledge that I would likely never have to take them on myself. Now that we’re here, my dread is starting to grow exponentially as I recall all that I learned when I was just a lonely, bored child reading abo

"Is he looking at you?" Calista didn't move. She stared at Aster with a puzzled look but felt she understood what Aster was worried about. "Don't do anything, Calista!" Calista looked around her, searching for where the voice was coming from. She heard the words very clearly. Painful images were often present in her dreams, but she did not know what was happening. "If you do anything, you will die, Calista!" "No!" "What nonsense is this! Go away!" "Haha. I will never leave your life, Calista! I am the shadow of your life!"

for the night escaped just like that? I chuckled. I'd seen men pull this trick too many times—they were just playing hard to get. Still, I couldn't help feeling a little disappointed that such a cute guy had escaped my clutches.

"Offer a man power, and he shall do anything for you. But even though I love to chat, it is time for the next show." I listen in horror as he starts to recite the ancient words of a spell I know that is not in the Seven Spells. This man is clearly trying to take a shortcut, though now is not the time for me to worry about how stupid he truly is. The voices of the fairies screech over the howls of the wolves. The Vampires start to scatter around as I watch in horror as the ground beneath them begins to open. The Devils Trap, a spell that consumes the earth and everything above it, the process has started and will not stop until all in the stadium has been sucked in. This will go wrong; this s

Proudly, Damian introduced his newest creations. “Meet the Fairy o’ meter version 3.2! With a juicy morsel of fairy cake offering as a bait, the cage will trigger when a fairy flies into it and trap the winged menace. Following that, a priest’s blessing circle will activate and dispel the madness caused by the miasma. After which, the fairy will be given instruction from a secret manual hidden in the ca

There definitely must be some inferior motive. Maybe it's just me, but like I said before, I'm having a hard time believing in people nowadays. No matter how I see it, I can't let myself believe he is doing all this out of humanity. Why would he take the risk to free me when he could get him in trouble? At the end of the day, he is involved in illegal stuff and I can easily go to the police and report their names. A part of me still believes that they are trying to trap me and this is all a scheme. Like I have seen in so many movies where shit like this happens and, in the end, it just happens to be a trap.
