For some reason, Natasha caught Sang grinning widely as Lucas brought the cup to his lips.
“Blaah!” Lucas spat, returning the cup filled with the drink back to the table.
Sang broke out in laughter.
“Urgh, awful stuff,” Lucas cringed and Natasha smiled at him.
“That’s tongba,” said Sang, managing to control his laughter into a grin, “made from fermented millet.”
“Maybe you should stick to chiya,” Natasha said softly, marvelling at her own perfect pronunciation of the spiced tea.
