“Lexy,” the voice whispered as a hand punched through my stomach. “You should have joined me.” So that’s it huh? This is how I die, a stake through my stomach and I don’t even get to see who did it? “Wake up! Lexy, wake up!” someone yelled at me. I shot upright in my seat, sweat streaming down my forehead. Next to me stood my girlfriend, Janea. She was tall with curly, jet-black hair, and smooth hazelnut colored skin.

"Tell me about our past." I sat on the edge of his bed, met his searching gaze, and began to spin my first lie. "Our first meeting was by Sacred Spring." I looked at him, letting just enough warmth into my voice. "There was a full moon that night. You'd gone there to pray, and I was only a Beta who had slipped out to watch the moon. "You found me, but you didn't drive me away. You said you'd never seen a wolf like me, that my eyes looked as if they held a whole galaxy."

He asked her in a curt tone but Georgia kept quiet. “I'm asking a question!!! What's your name!!!” He yelled so hard that everyone flinched feeling a cold spine run through them. “Georgia Brooke” she replied in a shaky voice. “I, Jared Cameron, the Alpha of the blue moon pack, reject you, Georgia Brooke of the blue moon pack as my fated mate.." And that was it. Georgia felt a pain coursing through her body.

Vivian had been so consumed by jealousy that her eyes turned red as she stood among those seeing me off, muttering to herself over and over again, "I should've been the Boss's wife.
