Unfortunately, I waited for ages without receiving a single word from him. I tried reaching him through the mind-link, only to remember that he had already rejected me. He never marked me. At the moment I most anticipated being marked by him, Zachary just looked at me coldly and said, "Faye Newman, I never thought you were so vicious. A woman like you doesn't deserve to be my Luna." He held Omega Nora Gates close, his heart and eyes full of her. Just glancing at me seemed to disgust him. I thought I wouldn't feel pain anymore, but every time I remembered Zachary's hateful look, it felt like knives twisting in my heart.

And the guilt sits heavy in my chest. I don't look up as I walk slowly. But I know Zayn is already here. I can feel his presence. He’s walking down the hallway toward me. His hand finds the small of my back when he gets close, guiding me through the hallway. “Well?” he asks, his voice low and intimate. “You were right. She’s a leech. He bit on the smooth chin, trailing his teeth below, licking his Adam apple. He changed his track back to his jaw line and to his ear. He licked the inner shell sensuously, pulling a moan from Noah. He smirked, biting the ear lobe. "Are you ready to be punished Noah Gabriel"? He hissed at his lips, keeping a distance for Noah to beg for his touches. He could clearly see Noah's eyes dark with intensity yet he submitted to him.

She cried in pain, almost leaping off the huge bed. "So don't stand there to apportion blames like you're innocent! You're not Jason." Astounded and tongue-tied, Jason stood there and watched Sophia, wondering about a lot of things. "But I already apologized, I said sorry, do you want a make-up gift? I mean... That's what you ladies love so much right? I'll get you one tomorrow but please can you quit talking about leaving me, the feeling's unfathomable."

“I guess there’s only one way to find out, Bunny.” So Chastine went to where Maxill was, beside Juste as they were playing a board game of sorts. “Maxill, can I have a word?” Maxill was outrightly surprised. “What is it, Chas?” Chastine pointed at her temple. She was gesturing at Maxill to read her mind. ‘Do you have feelings for Bunny, even slight?’ Maxill telepathically retorted, ‘What are you saying? Hell, none.’ ‘She said when she had s*x with you, she felt the heat between you two.’

More than one alpha is after me and is ready to capture me, according to another growl. My back is struck by something large and powerful, and I'm knocked to the ground as claws rip into my shoulder. Lucas is the one on top of me, about to bite, when the aroma of his body strikes me. My hands start to evolve into claws as a result of the agony, which also causes my nails to grow longer. Lucas roars in astonishment as I slip out from under him and resume racing as I roll over and slash at his muzzle.

I felt a sharp pain in my arm and watched as Lilianna dug into my forearm with her claws. “Ahhhh! Lilianna, stop!” I screamed in pain. There was a blur of black hair as Janea burst through the door and ripped Lilianna off me. “What’s going on? Is she an enemy?” Janea asked. “No time to explain, just get that watch from my dad!” I yelled while dodging a punch from Lilianna. Janea nodded, not wasting another second. Lilianna was back on me in an instant, slashing at me as I was pushed back. She was so fast all I could do was block and dodge, there was no opening to attack.
