"No," I replied, trying not to break down. "It has been written in your destiny, you can't change fate." She said. "Is there no other way?" I asked her and she shook her head. Again, Nickel was talking about the Three Toms. That wasn't a normal Hare concept. He was aware that a trio of Fates existed for them, but it was something else.
