“Three gods-damned days.” Chelsea picked it up, smoothing it flat. Her blond hair gleamed in the early light, her hand resting protectively on the curve of her stomach. “Evandra and Osiris Long,” she read aloud, her voice dripping with disdain. “A wedding at Pine Wood Pack. Notice: three days.” Her lip curled. “She thinks the entire realm revolves around her. Does she have any idea what it means to pull every Alpha from their packs with no warning?”

I shooed her away, assuring her that I did know how to work them and sat at the one located farthest from the door. She had said before that Aro had put a lot of work into cataloguing various information about our kind, from our laws to our myths. I began quickly typing any buzz words I could think of that might retrieve documents related to fated mates. William added. "That's enough guys. We better start going. It's getting late, we should check into a hotel." Xander said and Ericka sighed before nodding, dragging Freya along with her. William gazed at the disappearing backs of the trio. 'Hope the lady Freya was talking about was not who he thought it was..' At a dark corner of the room. A slender figure leaned leisurely against the wall. "This is just the beginning darling. I'll make sure to take my revenge."

Kael is asking me a question but his gaze is so far away, his piercing blue eyes gaze into the dim lit room looking into nothingness but yet it is as if he sees beyond. "Three." I say. "Three dreams. And the entries? How many were they?" He asks. "Three enteries." I reply. "Three is a very significant number." He finishes. Why does that sound so right and wrong at the same time. The number three, it is known to be a very special number and when I think deep into the classes I have had at Lupin, I realize one thing. "The fates." Kael says exactly what is on my mind like he can read them. "Three is the number of the fates." And the Lycans believes in the fates.

A mirror that could crush. “You are split,” it said softly. “Just as she is.” “I don’t have more than one version.” Its empty face leaned close. The storm inside its chest swirled faster. “Oh, Alpha,” it whispered. “You have three.” The world tilted. “No—” “Three futures,” it murmured. “Three destinies. Three thrones. Three outcomes you were meant to shape. But you resisted the design.” I yanked my arm free enough to snarl, “If you’re a future, I reject you.”
